Posthumano (posta homo) laŭ transhumanismo estas la venonta homo, kiu situos post la nuntempa homo, t.e. transhomo. Posthumano estos tute distingebla de homo, kiun ĝis nun ni konas.Unu el la ĉefaj trajtoj de posthumanoj estos manko de malsanoj kaj plilonga (aŭ eterna) vivo. Tion ili akiros pere de diversaj branĉoj de scienco, precipe BRINK. Posthumanoj estos pliprogresintaj/plikapabaj kaj intelekte kaj korpe.
