Το 1885 η Αλεξάνδρα έγινε παράνυμφος στο γάμο της Βεατρίκης, πριγκίπισσας του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου με τον Ερρίκο του Μπάττενμπεργκ, καθώς και το 1893 στον γάμο του Γεωργίου Ε΄, τότε Δούκα της Υόρκης, και της Μαίρης της Βυρτεμβέργης-Τεκ.
