Věda na Zeměploše (anglicky The Science of Discworld) je zvláštní knihou z Pratchetovy série příběhů o Zeměploše. Děj této knihy probíhá ve dvou rovinách, Terry Pratchett rozvíjí svůj příběh o pokusu mágů na Neviditelné univerzitě v Ankh-Morporku a současně druzí dva autoři, a Jack Cohen popisují pohled naší současné astrofyziky a biologie na vznik a vývoj vesmíru a života.

Le lecteur comprendra que le Globe-monde n'est autre qu'une métaphore de la Terre. La structure du livre est particulière : moitié roman, moitié vulgarisation scientifique. Les chapitres impairs racontent l'histoire prenant place dans le Disque-monde tandis que les chapitres pairs vulgarisent les notions scientifiques abordées dans le chapitre précédent. On peut lire le livre en lisant d'abord tous les chapitres impairs et ensuite les chapitres pairs, bien que les scientifiques peu amateurs d'heroic fantasy puissent se limiter au contraire aux seuls chapitres pairs. Trois suites de ce livre sont parues : La Science du Disque-monde II : Le Globe (2002), (en) (2005) et (en) (2013).
