أوروغوانيون أو الشعب الأوروغوياني (بالإسبانية: Uruguayos)‏ وهم مواطني الأوروغواي. وتُعتبر البلد موطن لشعوب مٌختلفة الأصول. ونتيجة لذلك، الأوروغوانيون لا يرتبطون ببعضهم من حيث العِرق، ولكن من خلال المواطنة. وكما هو الحال في القارتين الأمريكيتين، تُعتبر الأوروغواي بوتقة تنصَهِر فيها مُختلف الشعوب، وتتميز بوجود إندماج ثقافي بين مُختلف الشعوب، ومن ثُم استيعاب الثقافات المُختلفة. Οι Ουρουγουανοί (ισπανικά: uruguayos‎) είναι τα άτομα που ταυτίζονται με την Ουρουγουάη μέσω της υπηκοότητας ή της καταγωγής. Η Ουρουγουάη είναι η πατρίδα ατόμων με διάφορες εθνικές καταγωγές. Λόγω αυτού, πολλοί Ουρογουανοί δεν εξισώνουν την εθνικότητα τους με την εθνότητά τους αλλά με την αφοσίωση στην Κολομβία. Στην καθομιλουμένη, κυρίως μεταξύ άλλων της λατινικής Αμερικής, οι Ουρουγουανοί είναι γνωστοί και ως "οι ανατολικοί" (ισπανικά: orientales‎). Uruguayans (Spanish: uruguayos) are people identified with the country of Uruguay, through citizenship or descent. Uruguay is home to people of different ethnic origins. As a result, many Uruguayans do not equate their nationality with ethnicity, but with citizenship and their allegiance to Uruguay. Colloquially, primarily among other Spanish-speaking Latin American nations, Uruguayans are also referred to as "orientals [as in Easterners]" (Spanish: orientales). Uruguay is, along with much of the Americas, a melting pot of different peoples, with the difference that it has traditionally maintained a model that promotes cultural assimilation, hence the different cultures have been absorbed by the mainstream. Uruguay has one of the most homogeneous populations in South America; the most common ethnic backgrounds by far being those from Spain, Italy, Germany and France i.e. Spanish Uruguayans, Italian Uruguayans, German Uruguayans , French Uruguayans and Polish Uruguayans. Urugwajczycy – naród pochodzenia głównie europejskiego, zamieszkujący Urugwaj. Współcześni Urugwajczycy mają przeważnie włoskie bądź hiszpańskie korzenie. Nieznaczną grupę białych stanowią osoby pochodzenia francuskiego i angielskiego. Skład etniczny narodu ponadto uzupełniają Metysi (czyli potomkowie Indian i białych) – 6% i czarnoskórzy – 6%.Językiem ojczystym tego 3,5 milionowego narodu jest rioplatense, wariant hiszpańskiego. Dominującym wśród Urugwajczyków wyznaniem jest katolicyzm (ok. 60%). (pl)
Uruguaios é a definição para o povo nascido na República Oriental do Uruguai, assim como um indivíduo nascido em outro país mas com ascendência uruguaia ou até mesmo uma pessoa nascida em outro país, mas que passou pelo processo de "Naturalização", portanto, é essencial que a definição seja dada apenas quando a circunstância tiver alguma ligação com o país. Sua composição étnica, tal como sua formação cultural surge de uma forma geral a partir da mistura de indígenas e europeus, principalmente italianos e espanhóis e em pequenas exceções croatas, gregos e judeus. Urugwajczycy – naród pochodzenia głównie europejskiego, zamieszkujący Urugwaj. Współcześni Urugwajczycy mają przeważnie włoskie bądź hiszpańskie korzenie.
