Les raids vénitiens sur Tunis (1784–1788) sont une série de bombardements navals vénitiens de Tunis et de diverses villes de sa régence afin de forcer son bey, Hammouda Pacha, à cesser de soutenir les pirates barbaresques qui harcèlent les routes commerciales de Venise. La campagne dure quatre ans, au cours desquels la flotte vénitienne aux ordres d'Angelo Emo augmente en nombre et en puissance. (fr)
The Venetian bombardments of the Beylik of Tunis were a series of Venetian naval bombardments of the capital and various cities of the Beylik of Tunis in order to force Bey Hammuda ibn Ali to resume he treaty that protected Venetian shipping from harassment by the Barbary pirates. The campaign lasted from 1784 to 1786, with the Venetian navy under Angelo Emo bombarding the harbour towns of Tunisia. The conflict dragged on until 1792, but no major naval actions were undertaken after the winter of 1786/87. (en)
