The Djembers (also known as the DEFG class) were completed just prior to the outbreak of hostilities, at Surabayaand Batavia. Most were scuttled when the Japanese invaded Java, including an additional three incomplete units, and many of these in turn were salvaged and recommissioned by the Japanese.

Djember Batavia Scuttled 1942-3-1. Salvaged and recommissioned by the Japanese 1943-2-20 as Wa-104. Torpedoed 1945-4-12 off Den Pasar by Stygian.
Djombang Batavia Scuttled 1942-3-1. Salvaged and recommissioned by the Japanese 1943-8-31 as Wa-106.
Djampea Batavia Scuttled 1942-3-1. Salvaged by the Japanese in 1945.
Djigoel Batavia Scuttled 1942-3-1.
Enggano Batavia Scuttled 1942-3-2. Salvaged and recommissioned by the Japanese 1944-8-31 as Wa-107. May have served under the name Hiro or Hino Maru after salvaging but before recommissioning.
Endeh Batavia Sunk 1942-3-2 off Batavia by Matsukaze and Shiokaze.
Grissee Completed 1942 (Batavia) Scuttled 1942-3-2. Salvaged and recommissioned by the Japanese 1943-8-31. Torpedoed 1945-5-25 in the Java Sea by Trenchant.
