When Túrin came at last to Nargothrond, he chose to hide his identity, and claimed to be no more than a hunter named Agarwaen. Many of the Elves of Nargothrond, though, noted his noble and Elf-like bearing, and took to calling him Adanedhel, which translates as the 'Elf-Man'.
