The bold New World First Bus livery is shown to good effect on Dennis Trident 1001 (HU8370). Unfortunately, normal bus adverts completely ruin the effect! A few vehicles therefore have the full scheme kept unsullied like 1001, the rest have a simpler livery application to facilitate the adverts.
Another view of 1001 with typical Hong Kong backdrop. Four other NWFB ALX buses are in pursuit and tram 165 passes by on the offside.
Trident 1002 (HV3176) illustrates the random allocation of registration numbers - rather like the new British system! - to circumvent Chinese superstition about lucky numbers. The use of '888' registrations by the old UK based Hong Kong owned Capital Citybus may be recalled in this context.
A contrasting view of Dennis Tridents with ALX500 and Duple Metsec bodywork.
Listing heavily to port is Dennis Trident 1163 (JB8699) as it makes a sharp right turn by the Causeway on Hong Kong Island.
