What are your chances of being or getting pregnant this month? We'll help you figure it out.
Welcome to am_i_pregnant!
am_i_pregnant is a Pro-Choice community
We are women and men dedicated to providing best quality information to accurately help predict your (or your partner's) chances of being pregnant - whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Based on the information in your survey post, we'll let you know how much risk you are at (and why), or what your chances of conceiving this month are. We'll always tell you why and make sure you understand, and we'll always back it up with reliable sources.
For more general "support" or "discussion", or other types of questions we warmly recommend
birthcontrol,
pregnant or
femmehealth. Cross-posts to
birthcontrol will be rejected, as we run both communities.
We're not medical professionals, just people who know how to look at the facts, or where to go for more information, and care about teaching you to do the same.
This community is owned by dindin and run by

Community Rules
Your first post must use the survey. We'll be able to help you faster this way.
We love updates, just please let us know that it is an update (it's hard to keep track!) and link back to your old post if you can. Otherwise we may not remember you.
You don't have to be doing anything "active" such as charting to be "trying to get pregnant" here. If you're purposely not avoiding pregnancy, we'll assume you want to get pregnant. :)
We will always back up our answers with sources and expect you to be able to do the same. We welcome anyone commenting in the community with reliable information.
Please keep your text to a standard "default" text; this way everyone can read your post.
We're no better at reading pregnancy tests than you are, but if you'd like to post a picture, please put it behind a cut tag:
Pee on a Stick may be helpful to you for information about buying, using and interpreting home pregnancy tests.
Please do not delete comments in your post; if you have any problems at all, please email a moderator. That's why we're here! We will always treat you with respect, please do the same for us.
"Community" or "fake" accounts are welcome; we understand you may not want everyone to know who you are. Men are more than welcome to post for their partners, but we'll need you to fill out the survey completely like everyone else.
Please take a moment to reply to the answers you receive, if only to say "Okay, thank you." People are going out of their way to help you - let them know you've read their advice. :)
Community Promotion in Posts or Comments is Prohibited
