I seem to remember that at the last Olympics the athletes were asked to vote for the athlete that showed the best sportsmanship during the Games and the athlete who got more votes got a medal or a certificate or something of the like. Am I wrong? Did that really happen? Do they do that every year? Did they do it this year? Who won? (hehe, such a load of questions!)oh, one last thing: in 2010, the Winter Games will be in VANCOUVER! That's in my country! I so need to go!

May be an odd request...Due to other demands on my time, I missed most of the opening and closing ceremonies. I don't suppose anyone knows where they could be obtained? Preferably the CBC coverage? (I find their commentary less intrusive).

Hello! By any chance, does anyone have a tape of the pre-closing ceremonies segment on NBC about Stylianos Kyriakides (the Greek marathoner from the 40's)? They mention Kalavrita where my father-in-law is from and it would mean a lot to have a copy.Thanks in advance!!
