| I was talking to one of my buddy's from Planetside who has been in the military for several years now, and he agrees completely. He had an insightful view on the matter-Israel has constantly faced obliteration since its inception. They have to be aggressive at all times lest they be destroyed. Period. There is absolutely no other way to look at that particular issue. I agree in full. I do think that people have to start not giving a shit about how the issue is being portrayed on television, though *COUGH...COUGH...* War is war. If something "innocent" is "flattened", "bombarded", or "destroyed", then it probably happened that way. Shit, if I were Israel, I'd gladly accept that kind of publicity. I wouldn't want to be played down for the sake of the sentimental world. I'm not out there poking the terrorists with daggers. I'm fucking shit up because they fucked with me. What's that? They set up a secret bunker directly next to an apartment complex? Guess what? Fuck those apartments - here's your mortar to the face. The people living there are probably resistance supporters themselves anyway. Oh, this reporter said that some kid was holding a sign next to the press area that read, "Go home yankee. [**Tags**|opinion, rant]It's going to be very interesting to see what it will be like in San Francisco and on campus at USF this upcoming school year, what with all the stuff going on in the Middle East right now. I expect much anti-Israel sentiments along with anti-Semitism (however unintentional, since technically they're not supposed to go together...but they always do) since it's the popular thing to do in the Bay Area. To the point where I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this. *Note to self: avoid Arab Student Union.* I find it ironic how the terrorist group, Hezbollah, is getting all the sympathy when their military symbol is a MACHINE GUN and Israel's symbol is a Peace Dove with an olive branch. I also find it interesting how Hezbollah has deliberately planted all the centers that Israel is bombing right in the center of civilian areas in order to get world sympathy and make Israel appear as if they are the evil ones. I find it even more interesting how it's actually working. Are people that stupid? Fuck Hezbollah. Free Israel.
