QuadReal and Valor Real Estate Partners LLP have acquired several last-mile logistics assets in France for €50 million through their joint venture partnership. These include a 7,000 sqm building in North Paris, set for an ESG-led refurbishment, and a 10,000 sqm warehouse in Lyon, both suited for third-party logistics and last-mile operators. Additionally, two properties in Paris—one near Orly Airport and another in West Paris—will undergo refurbishments to enhance their functionality. All four buildings will benefit from #BREAAM certifications and energy savings features, such as LED lighting or building management systems. QuadReal’s continued partnership with Valor is a natural extension of the teams’ joint conviction in the urban industrial asset class, a sector that continues to benefit from rapid growth in e-commerce and urbanization across Europe. This World Water Monitoring Day, we are highlighting the efforts of our Parkbridge and QuadReal Property Group volunteers who took part in Living Lakes Canada's National Lake Blitz. Over the summer, teams across both organizations collected air and water temperature samples, an initiative that helps scientists understand the health of our water and environment. Water is a vital resource and days like today remind us of the importance of monitoring changes in resources essential to our overall health and well-being. En cette Journée mondiale de la surveillance de l’eau, nous tenons à souligner les efforts déployés par les employés de Parkbridge et de QuadReal qui se sont portés bénévoles pour le National Lake Blitz, un programme organisé par Living Lakes Canada. Au fil de l’été, des équipes des deux entreprises ont prélevé des échantillons de la température de l’air et de l’eau dans différents lacs du pays, une initiative qui permet aux scientifiques de mieux comprendre la santé de notre eau et de notre environnement.
