Or perhaps they somehow actually believe, with at least sincere and internally self-consistent credulity, that there's some conceivable healing power in selling The Thirthieth Centesimal Potency Of Whisky, in a 96% alcohol solution, at a price that would bring tears to the eyes of even the most well-heeled whisky connoisseur.I'm also not sure which of those three possibilities scares me most. I'd like to think they're just simple honest crooks, out to make their next buck as best one can in a naughty world, but I fear that the truth is deeper, darker and a whole lot dumber.Perhaps I can address the question by ringing them up and asking them what homoeopathic remedies they can offer, first for stupidity, and then for venality.
