However, both of these quantities may violate their desired values during this transfer due to disturbances in the network. This paper proposes a stratagem for choosing the right feedback path for an interconnected power system to maintain the system frequency and tie-line flows within the prescribed limits while external disturbances exist. Area control error (ACE), a combination of frequency error and tie-flow deviations, is used as the performance indicator. In the proposed approach, feedback control is designed using active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) based load frequency control to tackle ACE. It is observed that the individual load change monitoring is sufficient for selecting the right feedback paths rather than the consideration of simultaneous load changes of all load centres. The effectiveness of the proposed controller for selecting the feedback paths has been tested by conducting several case studies. The results demonstrate that the proposed controller can reduce transient magnitude around 57% for ACE, 55% for frequency error and 72% for tie-line error as compared to the PID controller.

The MODE-OPF utilizes the strengths of more than one differential evolution (DE) operator in a single algorithmic framework. Additionally, an adaptive method (AM) is proposed to update the number of solutions evolved by each DE operator based on both the diversity of population and quality of solutions. This adaptive method has the ability to maintain diversity at the early stages of the optimization process and boost convergence at the later ones. The performance of the proposed MODE-OPF is tested by solving OPF problems for both small and large IEEE bus systems (i.e., IEEE-30 and IEEE-118) while considering the intermittent solar and wind power generation. To prove the suitability of this proposed algorithm, its performance has been compared against several state-of-the-art optimization algorithms, where MODE-OPF outperforms othe...

They expressed the hardships of surviving lockdown while ruining the fresh dreams of their fresh minds. Their ruining dreams presented as helpless, depressed, and even suicidal when they discover that none of their coping mechanism helps them. Some people decided to commit suicide but return to normal life by giving up their decision after much thought. The qualitative research design is the most appropriate design for this study considering the short period and lack of available respondents because they do not want to share these sensitive issues. In this research, through the case study, is being tried to find out the real causes of the suicidal ideation of the respondents and the KII (Key Informant Interview) method has been taken to know the parental feelings on the suicidal ideation using the sn...

The model uses the well-known shallow shelf approximation (SSA) coupled to a level set method to capture ice motion and changes in the glacier geometry. The level set method explicitly tracks the evolving ice-atmosphere and ice-ocean boundaries for a marine outlet glacier. We use an Ensemble Transform Kalman Filter to assimilate observations of ice surface elevation and lateral ice extent by updating the level set function that describes the ice interface. Numerical experiments on an idealized marine-terminating glacier demonstrate the effectiveness of our data assimilation approach for tracking seasonal and multi-year glacier advance and retreat cycles. The model is also applied to simulate Helheim Glacier, a major tidewater-terminating glacier of the Greenland Ice Sheet that has experienced a recent history of rapid retreat. By assimilating observations from remotely-sensed surface elevation profiles we are able to more accurately track the migrating glacier terminus and glacier surface changes. These results support the use of data assimilation methodologies for obtaining more accurate predictions of short-term ice sheet dynamics.

The disease was diagnosed on the basis of clinical findings of infected goat. The overall clinical prevalence, highest and lowest prevalence was found 18.09 %, 46.67 %, 1.79 % respectively. Young (21.58 %) was severely affected than that of other age group. The male goat (19.05 %) was affected than female goat (16.62 %). Black Bengal goats were more susceptible (20.29 %) than Jamunapari (16.52 %) and cross breed (14.19 %). The disease was more prevalent in winter season. Bangladesh is one of the electricity-deprived countries; however, the energy demand of Bangladesh is increasing day by day. Due to the shortage of natural resources and environmental issues, many nations are now moving towards renewable energy. Among various form of renewable energy, wind energy is one of most potential source. In this paper, the present energy condition of Bangladesh is discussed and the necessity of moving towards renewable energy is clarified. The wind speed found at different locations at different heights and different years from the survey of several organizations are presented. Although, the results of installed low capacity wind turbines (from few kW to few tens of kW) operated by private or government organization at different places in Bangladesh are not so encouraging; however, it is shown that Bangladesh has a high potential of using large wind turbine (MW range) for capturing wind energy at different places. The present condition of wind energy in Bangladesh and other countries in the world are also presented to emphasize the requisite of moving towards wind energy.

ANSYS Fluent version 16 platform is used to perform the simulation. Eulerian model with Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) turbulence closure is adopted to analyze multiphase fluid flow in annular flow line. The results are validated with existing experimental data and empirical correlations. A robust simulation model is developed that can be used further for different applied cases. Geometry and boundary conditions of flow are adopted from experimental works to validate the simulation. The sensitivity analysis is also conducted to observe the flow characteristics. Fluid inlet velocity of distinct phases, inner pipe rotation and eccentricity are used as input or independent parameter and pressure gradient (pressure loss per unit length) and local concentration profile at different sections of geometry are the primary output parameter to analyze. The key results show that changing inner pipe rotation and eccentricity have a significant impact on output pressure and local particle distribution which eventually help to find way out from particle blockage. The outcome of this study will help oil and gas industry in designing the pipeline.

But understanding is still inadequate on these tools. This paper reviews the effectiveness of macro prudential tools in controlling systemic risk over time and across institutions and markets. The study exhibits that many of the most commonly used instruments are effective in tumbling pro-cyclicality and the usefulness is responsive to the type of shock facing the monetary sector. They can also interrelate with various other policies, such as monetary and micro prudential, raisi...

Even in health care, health management, education, and the science sector use intelligent devices for their convenience. With the assertion of its wellness, people forget its downside and treating smart devices as their primary need. Whereas smart devices are tracking and collecting all user movements, including interest, boredom, and daily activity. As the data remain store in vendors' servers, and lightweight smart devices follow weak security, so data leakage also makes the data available to unauthorized parties. This sensitive data uses by vendors and third-party for business and various purposes to influence and manipulate human behavior by showing content mapping to the collected data. Because of the huge involvement of the user in smart-device, marketing strategy also changed a lot. Digital marketing has been introduced and become a key to success for many businesse...
