The literature indicates serious disorders in the family life of the narcissist, hostility, tension, conflict, instability (Campbell, Foster, 2002; Kohut, 1972), so, we are interested in describing how narcissistic partners perceive their relationship, and how they describe the period spent during the pandemic restrictions. Two case studies were conducted, which were selected so as to be relevant to the research objectives. We were also interested in the psychological symptoms of the two subjects investigated shortly after the restrictions were lifted. In this regard, the Revised 90 symptom assessment scale (Marian, M.I., 2008) was also applied. The results of this study confirm the negative effects on mental health that a relationship with a narcissistic partner holds during lockdown and encompasses surprising coping strategies that make living with a narcissistic partner possible.

This systematic literature review has analyzed significant published peer-reviewed evidence concerning how remote employees lacking constant organizational support during the COVID-19 outbreak experienced escalated job demands, professional strain, low satisfaction and performance, and increased burnout. Throughout February 2023, a quantitative literature review covering scholarly databases such as the Web of Science, Scopus, and ProQuest was performed, with the following search terms: “COVID-19” + “remote work burnout,” “COVID-19” + “professional job stress,” and “COVID-19” + “employee emotional exhaustion.” By inspecting research published between 2020 and 2022, a total of 311 articles satisfied the eligibility criteria. Method: 48 secondary school teachers, V-VIII class leaders participated in group discussions to explore aspects of the child's/student's life in the school setting. This study is based on the theory of planned behavior framework in measuring preschool teachers’ intentional integrative–qualitative behaviors and Marzano’s Model of Teaching Effectiveness. The Marzano Model outlines educational strategies and gives teachers and administrators tools to help teachers become more effective. A sample of 200 valid responses was gathered in an online investigation that targeted preschool educators from Romania. Marzano’s Model of Teaching Effectiveness is an evaluation tool used to measure the success of highly effective teachers, which is further utilized in this study to measure preschool teachers’ effectiveness in relation to intentional integrative–qualitative behaviors. The integrative–qualitati...

There is undeniably a special interest in parental disciplinary practices (DPP) (Straus & Stewart 1999) within several disciplines. In a country where the physical punishments are considered efficient and normal, presenting the realities regarding the way children are disciplined is more than necessary, it is almost vital. Starting from the premise that adults tend to become their parents (Zoysa, 2011, Fink, 2014), we are interested in finding out to what extent these milestones in education are still respected and how adolescents perceive DPP. 252 students answered online questionnaires and 48 teenagers participating in group discussions confirmed the cognitive theories according to which the focus in parental discipline must f...

The transition to online education involved an update that we did not expect in terms of improving digital skills, teaching methods and student acquisition, etc. How do students appreciate the university's efforts, what criticisms do they bring and what suggestions do they have? We conducted a quick survey of 101 students from four study programs in the field of sociohuman sciences and education. Students appreciate that the management of the university is student-centred, feeling concerned about access to online education and creating an assertive communication framework, but they feel assailed by work tasks and suggest the provision of counselling services. They expressed their preference for the hybrid version of the classes. The study had implications for drawing new working models and providing services t...

There is no total consensus on the impact that separation from a working parent away from home has on children, due to the complexity of the variables that act, namely the child's personality, resilience, social context, coping strategies used, cultural role of the migrating parent, the age at which the child remains alone, as depicted in the scientifical literature. The present study represents a literature review aiming to highlight the main conclusions driven from recent research on the issue of the left-behind children. We have consulted 40 papers recently published in Elsevier, Medline, Springer, Wiley, and Web of Science databases. The psychological and emotional impact of the left-behind children (CLB) as well as the impact on school performance caused by parental migration were the main topics analyzed.

Due to its complexity, the field of social work is in need of personnel with multiple professional, specific and transversal competences. Thus, training specialists in the field of social work services is a complex process, which involves constant changes in the curricula according to the requirements of the economic environment. The dialogue between academic and economic environment as well as the feedback of graduate students have signalled certain dysfunctions in the contents of courses, teaching methods, etc. The necessity of developing competences such as conflict management, interpersonal communication, and creativity has also been pointed out. The article is actually a project whose aim is to adjust the academic educational offer to the requirements of labour market, namely to implement moder...

These rights are formulated facing all the child's needs, and they have been assimilated by all countries and promoted by laws and treaties, etc.; infrastructure has been created in this direction, and yet we are struck by a painful truth: in Romania too many children do not enjoy their rights. The present paper uses statistics from the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Protection and of the Elderly to describe some of the situations of difficulty among Romanian children, namely, the absolution, neglecting, abandonment and the situation of those children whose parents went to work in another country.

Teenagers who want to become employed do not need just support of school orientation to meet the requirement of labour market but also support to identify a suitable work place. This task is successfully completed by employment agencies.

This study is discussing a human resources procedure on recruiting assessment and its valid connection to the annual personnel evaluation individual scores, by analyzing archival data. Results conclude that age, gender, professional expertise, year of hiring, numeric and verbal abilities and interview score can predict job performance. Our hypothesis states that if we replace the classical weighted scoring algorithm with a fuzzy expert system, we will provide a better prediction of long term job performance.
