The aim of this study is to identify the benefits of digital supply chain and explore the effects... more The aim of this study is to identify the benefits of digital supply chain and explore the effects of these benefits of the adoption of digital supply chain. The study was conducted using data collected by a questionnaire from a sample consisting of supply chain informant employees from companies in the food industry. Three benefits were selected for the current study, which are supply chain agility, organizational performance, and supply chain risk management. The results showed that digital supply chains have numerous benefits from which these three benefits have significant positive effects on digital supply chain adoption. Therefore, it was concluded that companies’ adoption of digital supply chains depends on a bundle of benefits not only related to the supply chain itself such as supply chain agility and risk management but also incorporates the company as a whole in terms of its organizational performance. Customer loyalty has become one of the key factors for strong company competitiveness. It has bec... more Customer loyalty has become one of the key factors for strong company competitiveness. It has become a matter of concern, for both managers and researchers. Despite the relatively abundant literature on loyalty in Marketing, the notion of loyalty appears to be ambiguous. Our paper proposes a new conceptualization and an attempt to measure the concept of loyalty using a “relational approach”. It apprehends loyalty through customers’ responses towards “critical incidents” in the context of customer-bank relationships. In our research, we represent “critical incidents" by a “punctual dissatisfaction” and a “higher degree of competitiveness offered by competitors”. We use the Structural Equation Model to analyze the survey data given from 729 respondents from banks in Tunisia. The Mobile penetration in Jordan stands at roughly 93% of Jordan's total population at the end of 2008. Moreover, in Jordan there are 283 organisations registered with the ISO 9001:2000, and which is increasing year after year. Although some Private mobile companies have made great efforts to implement the system and to get the ISO 9001:2000 certification, others have not yet done so. The aim of this research is to investigate and identify the barriers that affect the implementing... more The aim of this research is to investigate and identify the barriers that affect the implementing of ISO 9001:2000 in the private mobile companies in Jordan; the results of such research expected to help the management to improve their practices and governance over its operation. To achieve the research goals, an empirically-based systems analysis was carried out for all the private mobile companies in Jordan using a case study approach. Substantial field work was undertaken using a qualitative approach that used semi structured interviews, documentation, direct observation and archival records to collect the data. To the best of the researchers' knowledge, this research is the first study in the Jordanian private sector regarding the barriers of implementing ISO standards. The results of this study identified some unique barriers, such as the ambition of employees to seek top and middle management posts, the restrictions applying when the companies were in the public sector, the failure to install complete management information systems, imbalance between the working practices of the companies and ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
