Social divide, geographical issues, technical support and know how etc added to the gravity of situation. Educationists also pointed out that ethical issues in e-learning like academic dishonesty, plagiarism and copyright violations need to be addressed. The present work is an attempt to find out various ethical issues in online education and to make suggestions, where ever required.

There are few studies done amongst the medical residents in India about informed consent. The residents are the stepping stone of the Medical profession, it is proposed that the perception about the informed consent amongst the residents shall be sought. Hence, the study was undertaken with the aim, to appraise the knowledge, attitude, and practices of residents of all three years toward 'informed consent taking' with the objectives of assessing and comparing the knowledge, attitude and practices of obtaining informed consent. The survey questionnaire was circulated and data was collated. It was developed in Knowledge, Attitude and practice domain and analysis was done. Based on the result, it was concluded that, in all three domains, there was ascendency of Knowledge, Attitude and Practice in three years of resident doctors.

Materials and Methods: 30 cases of epithelial dysplasia and 10 samples of normal buccal mucosa were included in the study. The cases with epithelial dysplasia were classified as mild, moderate and severe. Immunohistochemical staining was carried out using monoclonal mouse anti-human antibody against p53, p63, and rabbit polyclonal antibody against p73. Labelling index was calculated. The numbers of positively stained nuclei were expressed as a percentage of the total number counted for individual layer and in complete epithelium. The number of cells positive for p63 protein immunoexpression was higher than that for p53. Significant difference in positivity was observed with respect to p53 and p63 amongst all the grades of dysplasia. In severe dysplasia, significantly higher expression of p63 was observed. Expression of p53 was significantly higher in severe dysplasia than mild dysplasia and normal tissue. p73 was observed to be non significant amongst all grades of dysplasia and in normal tissue. Significant positive correlation was noted between p63 and p53 in severe dysplasia. Study Design: Thirty cases of epithelial dysplasia and 10 samples of normal buccal mucosa were included in the study. The cases with epithelial dysplasia were classified as mild, moderate, and severe. IHC staining was carried out using monoclonal mouse anti-human antibody against p53, p63, and rabbit polyclonal antibody against p73. Labeling index was calculated. The numbers of positively stained nuclei were expressed as a percentage of the total number counted for the individual layer and in the complete epithelium. The number of cells positive for p63 protein immunoexpression was higher than that for p53. Significant difference in positivity was observed with respect to p53 and p63 among all the grades of dysplasia. In severe dysplasia, significantly higher expression of p63 was observed. Expression of p53 was significantly higher in severe dysplasia than mild dysplasia and normal tissue. p73 was observed to be nonsignificant among all grades of dysplasia and in normal tissue. Significant positive correlation was noted between p63 and p53 in severe dysplasia. Results and Conclusion: Our results indicate that increase in the severity of dysplasia correlates with increase in expression of p53 and p63. Increased immunoexpression of p53 and p63 may help in identifying those cases of epithelial dysplasia which can transform into carcinomas. p53 alongwith p63 is a better indicator of progression of dysplasia toward malignancy rather than p53/p63 alone. This can serve as a useful prognostic indicator and also an indicator of treatment outcome.

The use of long bones and teeth has been documented since decades. The aim of this study was to use both radiographic and histologic methods of age estimation and to determine which method gives a near actual age. Orthopantomograph (OPG) was used to study the radiographic changes and ground sections were made for histologic study. Of the various parameters studied, we concluded that the histologic parameters recorded ages, which were closer to the actual age. Of the histologic parameters, two to three parameters when combined were still better.

We have made use of SAP2000 computer program. It describes structure’s behavior with the help of graphs i.e. ‘capacity curve’ or ‘pushover curve’. Due to cantilever action of the structures and increasing stiffness there is change in magnitude of displacement and base reaction. There is not much change in base reac...

Thisstudy aims to investigate the relationship between the stage of union at Manubrium, Sternum & XiphoidProcess and biological age in Chhattisgarh population. The study was carried out in 270 healthy subjects(135 males and 135 females) aging from 25 to 70 years. The obtained results from the radiographs revealedthat the complete fusion of Xiphoid process & Manubrium with the body of sternum is seen in more than& 70% of individuals in the age group of 50-55 years. Females were consistently developing union at ayounger age than their male counterparts. Results also suggest that the age of union is found to vary greatlyall over the India indicating the need for separate standards of age of epiphyseal union for separate regions.

Proper collection, preservation and dispatch of this crucial evidence to the Forensic Science Laboratory is hence very essential. Improper collection and preservation can weaken or destroy a potential source of facts in a case. Many times the suspects may hide valuable blood stain evidence either on the object or the clothes in different conditions which may adversely affect the investigation. Hence, proper collection and preservation of blood stain is of paramount importance, as it may provide a strong link between an individual and a criminal act.
