Whiteboard is one of the learning medias used by the teacher in classroom. It has a great role in... more Whiteboard is one of the learning medias used by the teacher in classroom. It has a great role in physics teaching and learning process. As media of learning, a whiteboard also has an important role in students’ thinking process. This paper discussed about the design of sliding whiteboard based on students’ assimilation of thinking in information processing that written on the whiteboard. The result of sliding whiteboard designs served as a prototype. The prototype was made from 10 cm x 18 cm plywood and rope as a slider. This prototype is expected to became an alternative model in addition to fix stage or theater seat model. In addition, the whiteboard sliding model will be accompanied by a module and user manual. Impact of the prototype on student learning was discussed.

Research has been conducted to find out relation position and speed to time, for objects that gli... more Research has been conducted to find out relation position and speed to time, for objects that glide on a magnetic foundation by applying the Research and Development method. Data retrieval is done by using video train motion recordings which are analyzed using Logger Pro. The results of the analysis are represented in the form of data and graphics. Based on the data analysis and fitting using the Logger Pro, the following values are obtained: vtrain 0.027 m/s, atrain 0.034 m/s2, average train velocity 0.02572 m/s and average train acceleration 0.03662 m/s2 with RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) value of 0.013 m. The acceleration value obtained is very small and almost close to zero, so it can be said that objects that experience irregular straight motion. The graph representation of velocity over time shows an increase in speed that is not constant. This is because there is still friction between the train and the runway and friction between magnets along the track with friction forces ...

Several problems in Physics learning on Parabolic Motion indicate possible flaws from the three components in designing the lesson. Understanding by Design (UbD) is applied as one of the alternative strategies to improve the lesson quality by considering the learning objectives, procedures, and evaluation by reversing the design, namely proposing the objectives first, evaluations as the second, and lesson steps as the last step. This is a qualitative research intended to construct an alternative design of Physics learning on Parabolic Motion using UbD. The initial Physics learning design was reviewed and analyzed by experts and revised until the final design. Ba... more Pembelajaran konsep fisika melalui pengalaman yang nyata akan lebih mudah dipelajari siswa SD. Banyak pengalaman siswa di sekitar yang belum digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Untuk bisa digunakan dalam pembelajaran, pengalaman atau kejadian disekitar perlu diidentifikasi terlebih dahulu.Paper ini melaporkan hasil identifikasi kejadian di lingkungan yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran konsep dasar fisika serta lokalisir konsep itu sehingga sesuai dengan tingkat berpikir siswa SD. Langkah yang dilakukan dalam identifikasi adalah dengan merekam terlebih dahulu kejadian yang sering dijumpai siswa SD ke dalam bentuk video. Dari rekaman video tersebut, berhasil teridentifikasi konsep dasar fisika tentang gaya, yaitu:pengaruh gaya terhadap benda, macam-macam gaya dan, aplikasi gaya dalam pesawat sederhana. Siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) memandang dunia secara objektif dan berpikir operasional konkrit dimana ... more Siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) memandang dunia secara objektif dan berpikir operasional konkrit dimana pemikiran mereka terbatas pada benda konkrit dan aktivitas nyata. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pembelajaran IPA hendaknya dikaitkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Paper ini melaporkan hasil observasi peristiwa atau fenomena yang dekat dengan siswa kemudian mengidentifikasi konsep fisika yang terlibat di dalamnya lalu mendeskripsikan konsep tersebut. Konsep yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah cahaya. Dari hasil observasi dapat diidentifikasi konsep cahaya yang terlibat yaitu proses melihat, perambatan, pemantulan, pembiasan, dan penguraian cahaya. Hasil tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar mata pelajaran IPA bagi guru SD serta sebagai bahan ajar yang dapat diintegrasikan oleh guru ke dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD. Kata-kata kunci : identifikasi konsep melalui video, fenomena konkrit IPA.

Kandungan karotenoid yang terdapat dalam buah-buahan dan sayuran, berperan penting dalam mencegah... more Kandungan karotenoid yang terdapat dalam buah-buahan dan sayuran, berperan penting dalam mencegah penyakit manusia, termasuk penyakit kardiovaskuler, kanker dan penyakit kronis lainnya. Namun, banyak metode yang digunakan dalam penentuan komposisi kimia khususnya untuk bahan makanan membutuhkan waktu yang lama serta biaya cukup mahal. Saat ini sejumlah teknik instrumentasi telah dikembangkan untuk menentukan kandungan kimia dengan cepat. Salah satu contoh adalah teknik pengukuran dengan menggunakan spektroskopi NIR. Dalam penelitian ini, spektroskopi NIR digunakan untuk analisis pendugaan karotenoid ekstrak kasar buah pisang tongkat langit ( Musa troglodytarum ) yang panjang dan pendek. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan pisang tongkat langit mengandung β-karoten, sebab pada area bilangan gelombang 5000 hingga 5500 cm -1 terlihat adanya kemiripan antara pola spektrum β-karoten marker dengan pola spektrum pigmen karotenoid pisang tongkat langit.

Exploring anticancer activity of wild and polyploid mutant of Artemisia cina. Biodiversitas 22: 1227-1234. The research aims were to explore the anticancer compounds in wild type (W) and polyploid mutant (P) of Artemisia cina Berg ex Poljakov using NIR and compare their cytotoxicity and selectivity on WiDR colon cancer and HTB183 lung cancer cell lines and Vero normal cell line. The W was obtained from B2P2TOOT Tawangmangu, Indonesia while P was by inducing A. cina shoot culture with 100 mg/l colchicine for 48 hours. They were extracted with hexane using the soxhletation method for 6 hours. The anticancer compounds were detected using NIR. The cytotoxic activity was determined using MTT assay, with Doxorubicin (D) as a control. The calculation of IC50 value used SPSS16 with a Probit analysis. The P contained the determined four compounds while the W contained no rutin. The IC50 values of W, P, and D were 295.5, ...
