Polyphonic speech of Tunisian biology textbooks : example of blood glucose regulation Textbook authors participate in the elaboration of the text of school knowledge through the production of writings in which they expose their conceptions about the regulation of blood glucose and report the models to which they refer. This discourse also reveals the discussions between these authors during the collaboration that allowed the textbook to be written. Our research is based on the study of the traces of the linguistic activity of the authors in order to identify the choices they make to model the regulation of blood glucose. Our results show the cohabitation of two distinct models, which results in a strongly polyphonic statement. We analyse the scientific and epistemological foundations of the authors' choices to discuss the expression of this polyphony as well as its consequences on the objects of knowledge produced by the authors.

This article bases itself on the analysis of the linguistic activity of the physiologist C. B ernard to understand the various dimensions of the creation of a new knowledge by overtaking the obstacles. We realize a fine analysis ofthe speech of this scientist by highlighting his profoundly dialogical and polyphonic nature at the time of scientific discovery. This reading reveals the various phases of progress of the scientific by following the evolution of relationships between the voices staged in the statements of the physiologist. We show that harmonization of these voices in this internal dialogue, which considers the real and controversies of the scientific community, is allowed in C. B ernard to surmount the obstacle of its old conceptions of the alive. This study leads us to outline some avenues of research in didactics of sciences.
