Use of pumice, thus, can be effective in improving the performance and growth of plant under water stress condition. This research was performed in completely randomized block design with three replications, four levels pumice, without its use (as control), and use of 30, 60 and 90 tons of pumice per hectare and three levels of irrigation (at 50% severe stress, at 70% moderate stress and at 100% without stress, evaporation from class A evaporation pan to evaluate the effect of treatment on some physiological traits of corn (modified hybrid of Maxima). Physiological traits of corn, was affected significantly by pumice and irrigation. The highest and lowest chlorophyll index, leaf relative water content, stomatal conductance and dry and fresh weight biomass, were obtained from pumice treatment of 90 tons per hectare and the control. The highest and lowest leaf temperature was also obtained from treatments of control and 90 tons per hectare. Chlorophyll index of 90 tons treatment per hectare in comparison with control and 30 tons per hectare of pumice amounted to 52 and 26% respectively. Stomatal conductance of irrigation at 50% evaporation from evaporation pan in comparison with treatments 70 and 100% decreased by 42 and 23% respectively. Thus it can conducted that the use of the 60 tons per hectare of pumice and irrigation at 70% evaporation from evaporation pan would be effective and will significantly affect plant vegetative characteristics and yield of corn.

There is no simp le technique to remove FPN without any inconvenience. An algorithm is proposed, which can reduce both, gain and offset FPN noise. At first, the gain FPN of all pixels will be unified. Then, the same procedure applies to the offset FPN. For a particu lar application in a star tracker, one can explo it stars image and its dark background or satellite motion to calibrate the camera during a mission. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm has been proved by simu lation results. This technique also can be used in any camera or infrared devices that use a focal arrays system to observe the scenes.

In this regard, the aim of this study was comparison of antibacterial effects of silver nanoparticles, thiazole, imidazole and tetrahydropyridine derivatives on three gram-negative bacteria including Proteus mirabilis, Acinetobacter baumannii and Shigella dysenteriae. Materials and Methods: To evaluate the antibacterial effects, the disk diffusion method was applied to measure the growth inhibition zone diameter and broth microdilution was performed to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (M IC). Results: The results showed that thiazole, imidazole and tetrahydropyridine derivatives as well as silver nanoparticles had no inhibitory effect on A. baumannii. There was also no inhibitory effect from imidazole and tetrahydropyridine compounds besides 6a-c derivative of thiazole on bacteria. In this study, the inhibitory growth zone diameter of 17.3 and 18.5 was recorded for the inhibitory effect of the 6d derivative of thiazole on P. mirabilis and S. dysenteriae mm and M IC of 125 and 62.5 µg/ml for them, respectively. Furthermore, the silver nanoparticle had inhibitory effect with inhibitory growth zone diameter of 13.4 and 15.2 mm and M IC of 1125 and 562.5 µg/ml on P. mirabilis and S. dysenteriae, respectively. Conclusions: In this study the antibacterial potency of thiazole derivative was proved in comparison to the silver nanoparticle.

Open mind is the independent variable and organizational innovation is dependent variable; furthermore, political behaviors have been considered as the moderator variable. This is a descriptive-correlational research and from the viewpoint of objective, it is practical and has been accomplished through a field study and library research method. The statistical population of the study consisted of the employees of the Vocational Organization of Doroud City (85 people); and the sampling (consisting of 70 participants) was done based on Morgan and Talkman's Table. Sampling was simple randomization and the data relevant to the variables were collected through a standard questionnaire (Alpha Cronbach = 0.860). The validated questionnaire, including 10 questions relevant to organizational innovation (based on Abren C. Clark's Model), enjoyed a reliability of 0.79. The scale employed for answering the questions was a five-level Likert scale and data analysis was done through LISREL and SPSS software. Statistical operations included Pearson's correlation coefficient, regression coefficient and Chi Square. The results show that the political behaviors affect open mind and organizational innovation; open mind correlates positively with organizational innovation; political behaviors are effective on open mind; and political behaviors are effective on organizational innovations.

Due to extraction of the coal seam, the panel roof strata above the mined zone will be destressed and then the roof loads will be redistributed and transferred to the front abutment and neighboring solid sections with higher load bearing capacity where the adjacent access tunnels and the corresponding barrier pillars are located. The height of destressed zone (HDZ), in this paper is taken as equivalent to the combined height of the caving and fracturing zones above the mined panel roof induced due to longwall mining. The height of destressed zone plays a vital role in accurate determination of the amount of loads being transferred towards front abutment and panel sides. The paper describes the mechanism of development of the height of this zone. Finally, five new simple, yet conclusive, mathematical approaches to estimate the height of destressed zone are presented. The results of the methods proposed are compared with each other and with the comparable methods. The methods proposed are further compared and verified with in-situ measurements reported in the literatures. The comparative results confirm the agreement that exist among the methods and those with the in-situ measurements as well. Finally the methods have shown that, in short term, the height of destressed zone ranges from 6.5 to 24 times the extraction coal seam height; while, in long term, the height of destressed zone ranges from 11.5 to 46.5 times the extraction coal seam height. Therefore, beyond this height the overburden pressure will be transferred towards the front abutment, the adjacent access tunnels, the intervening barrier pillars as well as the panel rib-sides.

Variational quantum circuits, where parameters of circuits are learned classically, have been widely used in many recent applications of QML. This is an instance of a hybrid quantum-classical framework, where both classical and quantum components are present. However, applying these techniques to applications involving massive data is a challenging task. One way to overcome this, is using the concept of classical-quantum transfer learning with the help of dressed quantum circuit, introduced recently, where the underlying neural architecture is pre-trained classically, but at the final steps (decision layer), a quantum circuit is used, followed by quantum measurements and post-processing to classify images with high precision. In this paper, we applied hybrid classical-quantum transfer learning to another task of massive data processing, i.e. Natural Language Proces...

Least limiting water range (LLWR) and integral water capacity (IWC) are two important concepts which are used for water availability to plant. LLWR is determined from four moisture coefficients (θ AFP , θ FC , θ SR , θ PWP) that are the soil water contents 10% air-filled porosity (AFP), at field water capacity (FC), 2 MPa penetration resistance (SR), and permanent wilting point (PWP), respectively. The computation is dependent on critical values, so IWC was introduced to avoid using the critical limits that sharply rises in a cutoff from 0 to 1 at the wet end of water release curve or sharply falls from 1 to 0 at the dry side in the previous concepts of water availability for plant. IWC is the integral of differential water capacity function (C(h)) in the amplitude of 0 to infinity soil matric potential (h) multiplied by some weighting functions (ω i (h)) each considering the effect of various soil limitations on water availability to plants. Up to now, the effect of different soil attributes and the tillage treatments have been reviewed on LLWR. The effect of soil various physical and chemical limitations such as soil hydraulic conductivity (K(h)), aeration, SR, and salinity has been considered on IWC computation. LLWR and especially IWC have been seldom studied using plant real response. Results of few studies about LLWR and IWC using stomatal conductance and canopy temperature showed that their values were considerably different with those computed based on previously introduced critical limits for LLWR and weighting functions for IWC. These differences indicate that the critical limits proposed by da Silva et al.

Methods: The aim of this study was to determine the best density of equine BM-MNCs in primary culture (P0) for obtaining the maximum bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cell (BM-MSC) yields at the end of P0. Bone marrow samples of two healthy mares were aspirated. The MNCs were isolated and cultured at different densities (1×10 5 , 2×10 5 , 4×10 5 , 8×10 5 , and 1×10 6 cells/cm 2). Within the 7 th and 14 th days after seeding, the colonies containing more than 15 cells were counted and the percentage of confluency and the number of cells were calculated on day 21. Results: The lowest density of MNCs was associated with the least number of colonies, number of adherent cells, and confluency percentage, whereas the highest density was associated with the maximum number of colonies and confluency percentage (P<0.05). However, the maximum number of cells at the end of P0 was associated with the intermediate (4×10 5 cells/cm 2) and the highest concentration (P<0.05). Conclusions: The maximum number of MSCs at the end of P0 was obtained at the densities of 1×10 6 and, especially, at 4×10 5 cells/cm 2 .

Clark's Model), enjo...

The antenna which is capable to work dynamically is encouraged. To make an antenna to work dynamically, modification in any of the antenna characteristics can be applied. In this proposed work, the antenna which can reconfigure its frequency is designed and analyzed. Microstrip patch antenna is most popular printed type antenna which is suitable for diverse applications. The antenna design consists of three PIN diodes which are placed in different positions on the patch. Depending upon the switching state of PIN diode the antenna can operate in different frequency ranges. The frequency range obtained ranges from 1.38 GHz to 3.24 GHz. Return loss value, VSWR obtained is of optimum level. The various gain of antenna is obtained in simulation. The analysis of the antenna is done in ANSYS HFSS software.
