The decline in GDP and economic growth in almost all countries was forced to experience negative contractions throughout 2020. The paralysis of the manufacturing industry and the obstruction of the global production chain became one of the main causes of the crisis. All countries in the world are forced to re-evaluate and look again at the right solution amid international trade uncertainty. Indonesia, which is still dependent on the manufacturing industry, is forced to look for other solutions that can be applied in this situation. By prioritizing agricultural and food products, Indonesia has managed to get out of the economic crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this paper aims to identify the government's decision to make agricultural and food products the spearhead of the national economy. Using a qualitative approach,...

They also believe that national culture influences team work and the ability to innovate. They consider the impact of national culture on behavior and relationships to be longer lasting than cultural influences that tend to diminish as a company changes. On the other hand, the supporters of organizational culture have a strong conviction that well-defined and widely used organizational practices throughout the organization will help an organization become excellent and capable of achieving high levels of performance. Both the partisans of organizational culture and the supporters of national culture have their own reasons as to why each side is more impactful when compared to the other. This paper attempts to answer which side has a stronger impact by reviewing the literature on the effect of national culture or organizational culture on the supply chain operati...

Indonesia, together with the other South East Asia countries who join ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asia), is also actively involved in engaging regional economy cooperation forums, such as: ASEAN-China FTA, ASEAN-India FTA, ASEAN-Jepang Economic Partnership, ASEAN Regional Economi Partnership (ARCEP). The establishment of those economic regionalism is apparently a strategy in responding economical globalization. Indonesia's involvement in those regional economy cooperations has increased its national commitment, both in going through economical liberization as well as in building its national economy competitiveness. This research describes Indonesian political challanges in responding the dinamic changes of that global economy.

A proponent of the organizational culture would argue that organizational culture has profound impact on the performance and sustainability to the organization; yet, the supporters of national culture believe that national cultures can play a role in distracting or strengthening the organizational culture to shape the organization and boost the performance of the organization. Some scholars pose questions whether national cultures constrain organizational culture (Gerhart, 2008). However, Hofstede (2001) argued that to achieve great performance an organization should pay attention to national culture. Each proponent has compelling arguments as to why their side has much profound impact compare to the other side. Organizational learning is primarily about individuals learning within their organization. Human learning in an organizational context is strongly influenced by the organization, having consequences to the organization, which results at the organizational level can only be inferred by observing the learning process of everyone within it. This study aimed to investigate the organizational learning capability among employee, as organizational culture intertwined with different national cultures. Data are collected by in-depth interviewing Expatriates and local workforce in a multinational company and in one higher education institution in Jakarta; exploring individual perceived organizational learning capability: experimentation, risk taking, interaction with the external environment, dialog, and participative decision making.
