But on the other hand, they also have a collective memory about the country of Sanggila (the nickname for Ternate and Tobelo) which always comes to arrest the people of Wakatobi Buton to be used as slaves who are traded in the country of Maluku. Therefore, their collective memory is in the tension between traumatize and romanticism. Research on collective memory will be carried out through an ethnographic perspective, so that it is hoped that it will be able to capture the various perspectives of the Wakatobi people about Maluku. Ethnographic data will be traced through bhanti-bhanti texts that have grown and developed within the Wakatobi community as their collective memory. Chudori. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data tertulis, yaitu novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari buku novel berjudul Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori cetakan ketujuh, yang diterbitkan oleh KPG (Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia) di Jakarta pada Juli 2019 dengan tebal x + 379 halaman; 13,5 cm x 20 cm. This research is an analytic painting about the content of educational values in the oral literat... more This research is an analytic painting about the content of educational values in the oral literature of the people of Wakatobi. All data in this study were sourced from in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. Considering this research is related to aspects of oral literature in the socio-cultural space, the data analysis was carried out using a hermeneutic phenomenology approach. Folklore in the form of folklore (tula-tula) and kabanti (folksong) are two forms of oral literature that are still used as educational media by Wakatobi people. This study found that the contents of the tula-tula and kabanti that grew in the cultural space of the Wakatobi people functioned as treasures of knowledge and entertainment value and contained ethical values. The researchers presented deals with the morphosyntactic construction of batata in traditional medicine for all the diseases in Burangasi Rumbia Village. The main objectives of this research included formulating and analyzing types of morphosyntactic batata in the Cia-Cia language. This article aimed to explain the existence of ‘Sara Kidina’, a traditional institution that has ... more This article aimed to explain the existence of ‘Sara Kidina’, a traditional institution that has survived to this day in Buton. Sara Kidina means a government or small institution that deals with legal and religious issues. This study used a descriptive qualitative model. Data were collected through a literature search and in-depth interviews with key informants. According to the results, the Sara Kidina institution has survived for approximately 423 years. Since its formation during the reign of the fourth Sultan of Buton, DayanuIkhsanuddin, Sara Kidina’s duties and functions have not significantly changed, even though the Buton sultanate system has ended. Sara Kidina functions to take care of the Butonese people, both now and in the hereafter. Bhanti-bhanti merupakan tradisi lisan masyarakat Wakatobi yang menjadi ruang ekspresi berbagai pe... more Bhanti-bhanti merupakan tradisi lisan masyarakat Wakatobi yang menjadi ruang ekspresi berbagai perasaan, pikiran masyarakat pendukungnya. Sebagai ruang ekpresi individual dan kultural, bhanti-bhanti dapat saja merefleksikan hasrat-hasrat pribadi dari seorang pelantun, tetapi di sisi yang lain, tradisi bhanti-bhanti menjadi ruang pembelajaran nilai-nilai kultural yang menekan ekspresi individul tentang seks. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan etnografi, sehingga pengambilan dan pengolahan data, dilakukan dengan menggunakan prinsip-prinsip etnografi. Ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman masyaarakat mengenai kebudayaan mereka sendiri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, (1) pementasan Tradisi bhanti-bhanti sebagai ruang ekspresi seksualitas yang khas, (2) pementasan dan kontrol kultural yang mereduksi ekspresi-ekspresi seksualitas, (3) pementasan tradisi bhanti-bhanti sebagai ruang ekspresi seksualitas setengah hati.
