Resilience is a capacity of individual to adapt positively when faced an adversity which is high ... more Resilience is a capacity of individual to adapt positively when faced an adversity which is high risk of prolonged crisises. Facilitating the focus and process of awareness is very important in increasing resilience to students with disabilities, because low resilience in students with disabilities has consequences for their future. The purpose of the study is to analyze effectiveness of mindfulness training with deepbreathing techniques in increasing resilience of disability students. This research methodology used quantitative with quasi-experimental pre-test post-test control group design, data collection techniques carried out by psychology scale, data analysis consists of descriptive analysis by looking at the mean and standard deviation (SD) and hypothesis testing in this study using nonparametric statistical methods with Wilcoxon sign rank test. The results showed that mindfulness training with deepbreathing techniques effective to increasie resilience in students with disabilities.

Pekalongan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one grouppre-test post-test design. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 50 santri kelas VII, dan sebagai sampelnya 10 santri yang memiliki tingkat penyesuaian diri sangat rendah, rendah, dan tinggi. Teknik sampel yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala penyesuaian diri santri. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni analisis deskriptif persentase dan uji paired-samples t test dengan menggunakan alat bantu program spss versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perubahan tingkat penyesuaian diri santri sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik modeling simbolik yaitu mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 9% dari hasil awal saat pre-test sebesar 56% m...

This research aims to find out the relationship between spiritual intelligence and academic resilience of vocational school students in North Semarang. The type of research used in this study is quantitative correlational. Sampling using simple random sampling techniques. Instruments used for data retrieval are the psychological scale of academic resilience and spiritual intelligence. Character education has been given so far to the child, either directly or indirectly, either at home, at school or in the community however, it is not enough considering the time given for it. It is necessary to instill the character values through cultural values. The exemplary value of RA. Kartini is one of the values that can be introduced to the children in ord er that children are able to develop an attitude (1) simple; (2) Bold & Optimistic; (3) Independent; (4) Intelligent and Knowledgeable; (5) Inspiring to form character. Therefore, parents or educators have the obligation to encourage the growth of basic character by teaching early children to recognize cultural values to develop the character or attitude of children through living the values and beliefs of society as moral strength in their lives.

The experimental research method uses the design of One Pre-test – Post-test Design with a purposive sampling technique to determine the research subjects of VII grade Madrasah Tsanawiyah as many as 10 people who have low interpersonal communication. Validation of this experimental study with guidance and counseling experts, and MTs level counselors in Kudus Regency. The results of this study indicate that interpersonal communication of students before being given group guidance based on Islamic teaching simulation techniques, the average interpersonal communication amounted to 107.71 (SD = 8.51), then increase after group guidance based on Islamic teaching amounted to 136.86 (SD = 9.02). Once the data collected by the instruments and furtherly analyzed, it was found that the character development conducted in SMA Taruna Nusantara covered tiered stages. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of reality therapy group counseling to... more The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of reality therapy group counseling to improve the self-esteem of State Islamic High School (MAN) Semarang City students. To purse such objective, this study used experimental method with Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Meanwhile, there were sixteen students involved as the subjects of the study with the focus on their self-esteem (8 students joined experimental group and 8 other joined control group). Once their data were collected and analyzed by using independent sample t-test, it showed that reality therapy group counseling was effective to improve students' self-esteem (t(14) = 8,01, p < 0,01). For more, the discussion of the results of this study was directed to identify the implications of the application of reality therapy group counseling in improving students' self-esteem.

Tujuan penelitian adalah diperolehnya temuan empiris tentang tindakan yang efektif bagi peningkatan kualitas keterampilan mahasiswa dalam melakukan asesmen non-tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan agar mahasiswa menerima tugas latihan dengan senang hati dan mahasiswa diberi kesempatan dalam mengambil keputusan guna melatih kemandirian mahasiswa sekaligus mengembangkan kerja sama dengan teman, maka perlu adanya tugas-tugas yang harus diselesaikan perorangan maupun berkelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang mencakup studi tentang suatu kasus dalam kehidupan nyata, dalam konteks atau setting kontemporer. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dalam menghafal tersusun dari dua hal, yaitu nilai dan ekspektasi. Teknik dominan yang digunakan dalam menghafal adalah dengan mengulang-ulang. Upaya faktual dalam menghafal mencakup empat aspek, yaitu konsentrasi, pola makan, kehidupan sosial, dan ibadah. This study aims to test and analyze the effectiveness of psychoeducation group services with mode... more This study aims to test and analyze the effectiveness of psychoeducation group services with modeling techniques to improve students' social skills. This study uses a non-equivalent group pre-test post-test control group design. The random assignment sampling technique was used to select 10 experimental subjects placed into two groups so that each group consisted of five students. Data collection using the goal attainment scale (GAS), the results of the coefficient regression test of the ANOVA test showed that the psychoeducation group services of modeling techniques were effective in improving the social skills of students who obtained F tables = 4.46; with p <0.05 so that the experimental group proved to have a significant effect with a value of F = 73,164; p = 0.00 while the control group F = 4.151; p = 0.76. The findings of this study confirm that psychoeducation group services with effective modeling techniques to improve students' social skills.

Konseling bukan sekedar apa yang diucapkan konselor, tetapi lebih dari itu adalah apa yang dilakukan konselor dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Karakteristik pribadi tercermin dalam keikhlasan, ketulusan, kehangatan, dan sikap yang menyenangkan dalam memberikan layanan kepada konseli. Karakteristik tersebut akan lebih kokoh manakala dilandasi dengan iman yang benar dan kokoh pula.

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan empirik yang menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar pada ... more Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan empirik yang menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 tergolong rendah untuk aspek-aspek tertentu, untuk itu perlu diberikan tindakan dari model yang telah dirancang. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok berbasis pendekatan humanistik untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dari uji efektifitasyang dilakukan bahwa model bimbingan kelompok berbasis pendekatan humanistik efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yangberarti setelah diberikan bimbingan kelompok berbasis pendekatan humanistik.

To purse such objective, this study used experimental method with Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Meanwhile, there were sixteen students involved as the subjects of the study with the focus on their self-esteem (8 students joined experimental group and 8 other joined control group). Once their data were collected and analyzed by using independent sample t-test, it showed that reality therapy group counseling was effective to improve students' self-esteem (t(14) = 8,01, p < 0,01). For more, the discussion of the results of this study was directed to identify the implications of the application of reality therapy group counseling in improving students' self-esteem.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang mencakup studi tentang suatu kasus dalam kehidupan nyata, dalam konteks atau setting kontemporer. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dalam menghafal tersusun dari dua hal, yaitu nilai dan ekspektasi. Teknik dominan yang digunakan dalam menghafal adalah dengan mengulang-ulang. Upaya faktual dalam menghafal mencakup empat aspek, yaitu konsentrasi, pola makan, kehidupan sosial, dan ibadah. This study uses a non-equivalent group pre-test post-test control group design. The random assignment sampling technique was used to select 10 experimental subjects placed into two groups so that each group consisted of five students. Data collection using the goal attainment scale (GAS), the results of the coefficient regression test of the ANOVA test showed that the psychoeducation group services of modeling techniques were effective in improving the social skills of students who obtained F tables = 4.46; with p <0.05 so that the experimental group proved to have a significant effect with a value of F = 73,164; p = 0.00 while the control group F = 4.151; p = 0.76. The findings of this study confirm that psychoeducation group services with effective modeling techniques to improve students' social skills.

Penelitian ini menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok berbasis pendekatan humanistik untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dari uji efektifitasyang dilakukan bahwa model bimbingan kelompok berbasis pendekatan humanistik efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yangberarti setelah diberikan bimbingan kelompok berbasis pendekatan humanistik.
