The malfunction of multiple mechanistic pathways influences the contribution of LSDs. Different ways are employed in such situations, but one novel ap-proach could resolve the problem by inducing the autophagic pathway, which aids in main-taining proper autophagy and lysosomal degradation function. Method: Autophagic Inducer functions on the activation of Transcriptional factor EB (TFEB) and its mechanism; mTOR Complex Inhibition dependently or independently may repair the mal-function of the entire mechanism. Finding a potential autophagic inducer is still a work in progress, but targeting TFEB and mTOR could redefine LSD treatment. The development of experimentally available TFEB modulators could enhance autophagic flux promote lysosomal function and increase lys...

It is characterised by a combination of classic symptoms, including vertigo (spinning sensation), sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL), tinnitus (ear ringing), nausea, and vomiting. The most important histological marker of the Meniere's disease (MD) is endolymphatic hydrops (EH). Different subgroups of patients have different aetiologies, including trauma, viral infection, autoimmunity, allergy, otitis media, and genetic predisposition. MD is most prevalent in European descendants with higher women to men ratio. Recent diagnostic criteria classify MD into definite and probable MD. The treatment consists of non-invasive approaches to surgically destructive methods. The review focuses on epidemiology, aetiology, diagnostic criteria, recent imaging techniques, diagnostic tools, and various treatment regimens.

IBD affects people greatly all over the globe. It is observed that it is more prevalent in the urbanized countries. Both the etiology and pathogenesis of IBD are complex to understand. Yet many researchers have taken great efforts to figure out the etiopathogenesis. Diagnosis of IBD is also difficult thus it is required to differentiate between UC and CD. Thus, we have shed some light on the diagnostic tools too. Since the cure for IBD is difficult, treatment is the only option, hence various recent treatments are also explained with the help of this review. This review gives a brief overview of the disease also highlights the various etiopathogenesis involved.

An early and accurate diagnosis of AMI is critical for prompt and appropriate treatment. Cardiac biomarkers, including myoglobin, creatinine phosphokinase (CK), and cardiac troponins, have been widely used for AMI diagnosis. More recently, new biomarkers such as heart-type fatty acid-binding protein and matrix metalloproteinases have shown promise in improving AMI diagnosis. At present, cardiac biomarkers and biosensors are used in the diagnosis and prognosis of AMI. This review article gives information on cardiac biomarkers specific to AMI and its diagnostic methods. These biomarkers have several advantages, including their high specificity for cardiac injury and their sensitivity to even small extent of cardiac damage. In addition, cardiac biomarkers can be used to assess the severity of AMI and predict the risk of complications or mortality. Recently, biosensors that c...

An eco-friendly method for quantification of Aspirin and Omeprazole in pharmaceutical solid dosag... more An eco-friendly method for quantification of Aspirin and Omeprazole in pharmaceutical solid dosage form has been developed using Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometry. The proposed method avoids the use of solvents which are commonly used for other methods of quantification e.g. Liquid Chromatography, UV spectrophotometry, etc. The developed method has been validated for the quantification of Aspirin and Omeprazole in a marketed formulation as per ICH Topic Q 2 (R1) guidelines. The method is based on Beer-Lamberts' law. For the proposed method C=O stretch at 1754 cm −1 was selected for Aspirin between 1750-1730 cm-1 and C=N stretch at 1627 cm −1 was selected for Omeprazole in the range of 1690-1620 cm-1. Linearity was obtained in the concentration range of 10-50 mg g-1 and 5-25 mg g-1 with an R 2 value of 0.999 and 0.997 for Aspirin and Omeprazole respectively. The % recovery was calculated with intra and inter day precision study.

In today’s life, more and more people of the world are turning towards the use of natural or herbal products as these have very less or negligible side effects. As the use of herbal medicinal products is increasing day by day, the questions regarding their quality are also arising. This is due to lack of parameters for the standardization of these products. There is a need to set different parameters or methods that can help to standardize the herbal medicinal plant materials. Various methods like physical, chemical, biological is used for standardization and quality evaluation of herbal medicinal plants. These methods can act as a basic tool for the quality evaluation of herbal plant materials. Different parameters of standardization are the fundamental tool for evaluating and assuring the quality of the herbal plant material and its products. Thi...

Bioanalytical methods have been working for the quantitative estimation of drugs, or its metabolites and biomarkers in its biological samples. The steps involved in bioanalysis comprise of many steps that are from sample collection to sample analysis and then data reporting. The first step involves sample collection from clinical or preclinical studies. After that, the analysis of the sample is done in the laboratory. The second step involves the sample cleanup the cleanup process should be carried out carefully to eliminate the interferences present in the sample matrix. And it increases the performance of the analytical system. The last step involves sample analysis and detection of a separated compound and detection techniques used are HPLC and Liquid chromatography coupled with double mass spectrometry (LCMS-MS) and are used in the bioanalysis of drugs in the body. Spectrophotometrically, Spironolactone was determined by measuring the 1D and 2D-values at 226 nm and 262 nm using methanol as background solvent. The Calibration curves were shown linear within a concentration range from 5-35 μg/ml. The developed and validated method was easily applied to the analysis of the pharmaceutical tablet preparations. The percentage recoveries were found to be 100% for given methods. The excipients did not interfere in the analysis. The results showed that this method can be used for rapid determination of Spironolactone in pharmaceutical tablet with specificity and accuracy.

The method was based on the determination of Spironolactone by the measurement of absorption of radiation at absorption band corresponding to C]O stretch of cyclic ester centered at 1768 cm −1 , which is typically in the range of 1802-1748 cm −1 because those absorption bands did not occur in excipients present inpharmaceutical preparation. The proposed method was validated as per ICH guidelines. The linearity of spironolactone was obtained in the concentration range of 1-7 mg/g with correlation coefficient value (R 2) 0.995. The recovery studies confirmed by the accuracy of the proposed method and low values of standard deviation confirmed precision of the method.
