Indonesia has a very high biodiversity, so it is rich in various medicinal plants that have the p... more Indonesia has a very high biodiversity, so it is rich in various medicinal plants that have the potential to be developed and utilized optimally. The phenomenon of society in general is that the use of generic drugs is more effective in treating disease than consuming medicinal plants. The use of medicinal plants is considered ancient and does not provide significant results. Times have started to change where conventional medicine has become a luxury for some people, so traditional medicine through Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) is starting to be glimpsed by some people in Indonesia. The community partnership program has the aim of increasing community understanding and skills through socialization of the use of TOGA to create a healthy community in Rumbai hill village. In ancient times, this dance was functioned for ceremonies in the kingdom and as a means of legalizing and celebrating the king’s existence. The performance may only be done within the palace. This dance has not been performed for a long time due to the lack of guidance from the supporting community. This research uses descriptive and analytical methods to present data objectively based on facts or phenomena as they are. Furthermore, the facts and phenomena are analyzed according to the context of the discussion. Therefore, the research objective, namely the revitalization of the Melemang dance, can be achieved.Keywords: melemang dance; drowning period; revitalization

The University of Kiambang Putih in Bentan Penao, Bintan regency, martial arts performance presented at traditional Malay wedding is also called Silat flag. The form of presentation is divided into two parts, namely silat flag and silat performance. Silat flag is displayed by two fighters, using the red flag and white color properties. The red and white flag are symbolized to unite two human beings into the family ark. The red flag is interpreted as red blood, which is from the bride. The symbol of the white flag is interpreted as white blood, which is from the groom. The Silat flag performance ends with the unification of both flags. It will be continued with silat performance. Adok drama-dance is a traditional dance from the Kanagarian Paninggahan. The dance is accompanied... more Adok drama-dance is a traditional dance from the Kanagarian Paninggahan. The dance is accompanied by musical instruments called drum Adok. Adok drama-dance tells the story of two kings in a competition for a bidodari. The contents of the story delivered through a motion supported by dendang which deliver certain messages. Adok drama-dance consists of five acts. The purpose of this research is to figure out the form and the aesthetics of Adok drama-dance as Minangkabau traditional drama-dance in Kanagarian Paninggahan, Solok district. The results of this research is that the Adok dance tells story and deliver specific messages. Adok dance is drama-dance without verbal dialogue that has obvious plot and characterizations. Then Adok dance is categorized as Minangkabau Traditional Ballet. Thus, this study is entitled the aesthetics of drama-dance Adok as dance Traditional in Kanagarian Paninggahan Solok Regency of West Sumatra.

The universal loving culture is a culture for respecting the sky, upholding the earth, loving humanity from all nations that enclose the spirit of love, respect, gratitude and devotion as an attempt to change bad habits that have roots in society. The INLA dance is conventionally made based on experience with its supporting elements and evokes a dance form that is revealed to have symbols and meanings that resemble logical abstractions by using ethnocoreology discipline can be reflected and analyzed movement that has symbol of meaning that gives spirit of spirituality to dancers and audiences of dance art of INLA itself.
