Microgrid is cluster of distributed generation sources, storage systems and controllable loads. M... more Microgrid is cluster of distributed generation sources, storage systems and controllable loads. Microgrid can provide quality and reliable supply of energy to consumer. Microgrid can operate in both modes of operations that is grid connected mode and islanded mode. This implementation poses technical challenge of protecting the micro grid. Power quality, energy management, stability, power flow control, protection system and integration of various distributed generators are the major issues in the microgrid operation. This paper reviews various protection issues in micro grid, various protection schemes to overcome the protection issues are also discussed. Implementation of adaptive protection system using digital relaying and advanced communication is most successful method of the protection of micro grid.

These motors are simple, efficient, highly robust and rugged thus offering a very high degree of reliability. But like any other machine, they are vulnerable to faults, which if left unmonitored, might lead to catastrophic failure of the machine in the long run. On-line condition monitoring of the induction motors has been widely used in the detection of faults. This paper delves into the various faults and study of conventional and innovative techniques for induction motor faults with an identification of future research areas.

This paper presents the design of folded cascode operational transconductance amplifier (OTA). Th... more This paper presents the design of folded cascode operational transconductance amplifier (OTA). This design has been implemented in 0.18um CMOS Technology using Cadence. Spectre simulation shows that the OTA has flat gain of 47dB from 1Hz to 100 KHz frequency, indicating stability of OTA, noise ranges as 22.49769nV/ at 10Hz to 66.89128fV/ at 1MHz and average power as 0.770mW. In this paper, we will be studying the design concepts, analysis of operational transconductance amplifier which is used for recording the bio signals. This paper plays a key role in real time applications for equipment designing of ECG, EEG, EMG, ENG devices. It is also used in recording and also for treatment of Paralysis, Epilepsy, Neuro diseases etc.,

In this paper we introduce a modification of recently introduced analytical approach to model mas... more In this paper we introduce a modification of recently introduced analytical approach to model mass-and heat transport. The approach gives us possibility to model the transport in multilayer structures with account nonlinearity of the process and time-varing coefficients and without matching the solutions at the interfaces of the multilayer structures. As an example of using of the approach we consider technological process to manufacture more compact double base heterobipolar transistor. The technological approach based on manufacturing a heterostructure with required configuration, doping of required areas of this heterostructure by diffusion or ion implantation and optimal annealing of dopant and/or radiation defects. The approach gives us possibility to manufacture p-n-junctions with higher sharpness framework the transistor. In this situation we have a possibility to obtain smaller switching time of p-n-junctions and higher compactness of the considered bipolar transistor. The first generation of multi-machine systems is limited on two .the first configuration consists... more The first generation of multi-machine systems is limited on two .the first configuration consists of a continuous floor which feeds several three-phase inverters connected in parallel, or each inverter supplies a three-phase machine .the control of each machine is independent via its inverter and its algorithm control .the second configuration consists of a single inverter, which also feeds in parallel three phase machines .for this structure, the machines must have the same speed and suffer the same torque load .these two conditions make the use of this system in a limited scope .It is impossible to connect in series several three-phase machines powered by a single-phase power converter and that each machine in the group have an independent speed control .but, the use of multi-phase converters associated with polyphase machine. generate additional degrees of freedom .With these, several polyphase machines can be connected in series in an appropriate transposition phases. The objective of this work is to order, model and characterize the behavior of a training system multimachines composed of two five phase synchronous permanent magnet motors connected in series and powered by a five phase matrix converter applied to the rail traction.

EM solver WIPL-D software is used to design, analyse and optimize the dimensions of horn antenna which is
based on MOM solution for computations. The standard horn antenna at 10 GHz for 15dB gain is modelled and
the radiation pattern was observed. The horn antenna is optimized to achieve more than 20dB gain using
Simplex Algorithm, radiation patterns of the optimized horn antenna are also presented. Geometry of the horn
can be modelled by exploring the toolbar ‘symmetry’ option in WIPL-D. Design of X band Pyramidal Horn
Antenna is fabricated and measured using Network Analyzer.

variable penalty advantages finds its own utility in optimal power flow solutions .This paper presents three
algorithm with an effect of variable penalty using Fuzzy Logic selection on the convergence of OPF. Fuzzy
Logic variable penalty based study is provided to visualize the effect of selection of control variables on
OPF convergence with solution time and improved value. Extensive study is provided on IEEE 30 bus
system to draw certain important conclusions

This is a complete automated solution for the existing energy distribution and monitoring system ... more This is a complete automated solution for the existing energy distribution and monitoring system in India,which
can monitor the meter readings continuously and take necessary actions to maintain the power grid stable. A
Power Line Communication (PLC) based modem is integrated with each electronic energy meter. Through PLC
the meters communicate with the coordinator. Coordinator makes use of GPRS modem to upload/download
data to/from internet. A personal computer with an internet connection at the other end, which contains the
database acts as the billing point. Live meter reading sent back to this billing point periodically and these
details are updated in a central database. An interactive, user friendly graphical interface is present at user
end. All the energy logs, notices from the Government, billing details and average statistics will be available
here. The system splits the loads into critical loads and non critical loads. This makes the distribution system
more intelligent. More over prior information about the power cuts can be done. We can easily implement many
add-ons such as energy demand prediction, real time dynamic tariff as a function of demand and supply and so
on.

This article explores performance study of the proposed high data rate triple band novel one hund... more This article explores performance study of the proposed high data rate triple band novel one hundred sixty
channel dense wavelength division multiplexed (DWDM) optical communication link. The model has been
designed to operate over multiband S/C/L and channel to channel spacing of 100 GHz bit rate of 20 Gb/s
with employed semiconductor optical amplifier, transmission performance were investigated over three
hundred kilometres of transmission length. The simulated results showed very good transmission
performance for the randomly received channels with Q-factor greater than 10dB, good eye pattern over the
entire S/C/L bands along with 6dBm booster power. From the results it is inferred that conventional band of
DWDM may be upgraded with inclusion of short band, long band communication capacity thus a boost in
the spectral efficiency. Hence it may be one of the prevailing schemes to further enhance the competence of
the modern photonic systems.

proposed router is based on new error detection mechanisms suitable for dynamic NoCs, where the position of
processor elements or faulty blocks varies during runtime. Indeed, I propose an online Error detection
mechanism using CRC Algorithm. Proposed mechanism is able to discriminate permanent and transient errors
and localize precisely the position of the faulty blocks in the NoC routers, while preserving the throughput, the
network load, and the data packet latency.

channel dense wavelength division multiplexed (DWDM) optical communication link. The model has been
designed to operate over multiband S/C/L and channel to channel spacing of 100 GHz bit rate of 20 Gb/s
with employed semiconductor optical amplifier, transmission performance were investigated over three
hundred kilometres of transmission length. The simulated results showed very good transmission
performance for the randomly received channels with Q-factor greater than 10dB, good eye pattern over the
entire S/C/L bands along with 6dBm booster power. From the results it is inferred that conventional band of
DWDM may be upgraded with inclusion of short band, long band communication capacity thus a boost in
the spectral efficiency. Hence it may be one of the prevailing schemes to further enhance the competence of
the modern photonic systems.

proposed router is based on new error detection mechanisms suitable for dynamic NoCs, where the position of
processor elements or faulty blocks varies during runtime. Indeed, I propose an online Error detection
mechanism using CRC Algorithm. Proposed mechanism is able to discriminate permanent and transient errors
and localize precisely the position of the faulty blocks in the NoC routers, while preserving the throughput, the
network load, and the data packet latency.

EM solver WIPL-D software is used to design, analyse and optimize the dimensions of horn antenna which is
based on MOM solution for computations. The standard horn antenna at 10 GHz for 15dB gain is modelled and
the radiation pattern was observed. The horn antenna is optimized to achieve more than 20dB gain using
Genetic Algorithm, radiation patterns of the optimized horn antenna are also presented. Geometry of the horn
can be modelled by exploring the toolbar ‘symmetry’ option in WIPL-D. Design of X band Pyramidal Horn
Antenna is fabricated and measured using Network Analyzer.

that the OTA has flat gain of 47dB from 1Hz to 100 KHz frequency, indicating stability of OTA, noise
ranges as 22.49769nV/ at 10Hz to 66.89128fV/ at 1MHz and average power as 0.770mW. In
this paper, we will be studying the design concepts, analysis of operational transconductance amplifier
which is used for recording the bio signals. This paper plays a key role in real time applications for
equipment designing of ECG, EEG, EMG, ENG devices. It is also used in recording and also for

heat transport. The approach gives us possibility to model the transport in multilayer structures with account
nonlinearity of the process and time-varing coefficients and without matching the solutions at the
interfaces of the multilayer structures. As an example of using of the approach we consider technological
process to manufacture more compact double base heterobipolar transistor. The technological approach
based on manufacturing a heterostructure with required configuration, doping of required areas of this
heterostructure by diffusion or ion implantation and optimal annealing of dopant and/or radiation defects.
The approach gives us possibility to manufacture p-n-junctions with higher sharpness framework the transistor.
In this situation we have a possibility to obtain smaller switching time of p-n-junctions and higher
compactness of the considered bipolar transistor.
