The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between plasma testosterone and cortisol concentrations with psychological overtraining items (by Consensus group on overtraining of the Societe Francaise de Medecine du Sport) in football referees. Thirty football referees (X±SD: age 28.9±4.54 year; height 178.9±6.45cm; weight 77.5±9.23 kg; BMI 22.96±2.14 kg/m; Vo2max 51.21±2.53 ml/kg/min) volunteered for the study during a rest day (24 hours without training). They were asked to complete the overtraining questionnaire contains 54 question requiring answers of "yes" or "no". Then plasma samples were taken at rest and immediately after agame of Isfahan premier league (vision of Asia). The results of data analyses showed that the overtraining score from questionnaire correlates with cortisol concentration on rest day respecti...

For this purpose, 38 patients referred to medical centers Cardiovascular Shahin Shahr city, were selected. The patients were underwent bypass surgery or angioplasty balloon. After, patients filled demographic questionnaire and tests were performed to determine risk factors. Also echocardiography (Simpson) and limited exercise test method (Noughton) were used to determine functional capacity and ejection fraction. Before and after the exercise, anthropometric measurements (Weight, waist circumference, hip circumference and subcutaneous fat three regions), blood tests for IL-6, IL-10, CKmb and walk test for 6 min (For determining the physical capacity) were measured. The exercises were performed 3 days a week for 24 sessions, each session was one hour. Results showed that rehabilitation programs reduce CKmb and inflammatory cytokines. Totally, the present study showed rehabilitation program having resistance-endurance (Concurrent) training can be appropriate in order to perform functional capacity in patients. This method of training can cause improvement in muscular power, VO and better cardiovascular performance and at last induce quality of life of patients.

The statistical population of the study consisted of Isfahan school boys aged 12-14 who were registered in Volleyball Training Center in the year 2010. Five centers including 210 subjects were selected randomly and in an equal way stayed in the three training groups. They were trained for 2 months with 12 sessions in each month. Blocked practice group practiced just one skill in both sessions of the first month and one skill in each session of the second month. Random practice group practiced two skills in each session of the first month and three skills in each session of the second month. Blocked-random practice group practiced just one skill in both sessions of the first month and three skills in each session of the second month. For the statistical analysis, one-way variance and a portion test were used. The results showed that the difference between the mean scores of the participants is just meaningful in waterfall test, (p 0.05). Blocked-random practice compared to blocked and random practice compared to blocked were more effective in learning these skills. It can be proposed volleyball coaches use blocked-random and random practice in the training of spike skills to the beginners.

Methods: The experimental subjects were 63 males who had undergone a coronary bypass, balloon angioplasty or valve replacement. Control subjects were 35 men who had received a similar range of treatments, but were unwilling to enter the rehabilitation program. Results: Baseline anthropometric data, ventricular dimensions, ejection fraction and treadmill testing showed good initial matching of clinical status. The experimental group performed a one-hour exercise program 3 times per week for 8 weeks. After training, anthropometric measurements showed a decrease of body fat, and peak aerobic power and 6-minute walking distance showed expected gains. The rehabilitation program led to substantial decreases in CK-MB, IL-6, and IL-10 in the experimental group...

Thirty subjects were recruited into this study, 20 control subjects and 20 individuals for resistance exercise. Subjects ranged in age from 20 to 40 years. The subjects reported in the laboratory on the morning after a 12-h fast. Blood (10 ml) was obtained from an antecubital vein, with the subject in an upright position, before exercise and at 10 h after six weeks of resistance training. In conclusion, after resistance exercise, leptin and CRP showed significant differences when compared to resting values. In addition, these values were related to each other after exercise. Other cytokines and different types of subjects should be included in further studies.

Sporting tours are the most glaring example of the effect sports can have in the development of a certain region. The rafting tour along the rural areas of the ARMAND River and the town of NAGHAN is an example of this effect, which has shown an upward trend in recent years. The goal of this research was to show the real effect of these tour and sports in general on the cultural development of the villages in the region, and the potential for further development in other areas nearby. The survey pool consisted of 23 villages and 7145 persons which 336 of them were chosen according to Cochran formula and randomly asked for questionnaire. The validity of the survey has been approved by α = 0.96 factor. The findings showed that there has been a positive trend in the overall income of the people in the village. Furthermore on the cultural aspect, there has been an increase in public knowledge and awareness, cooperation and trust amongst villagers, development of new talents and an overall positive change in perspective of the locals. The results also show some negative trends such as changing traditional clothing, language and accent amongst the locals. The one sample t-test survey shows changes in cultural variables, which have been calculated with a p value of less than 0.05. Therefore showing that rafting tours have had an overall positive effect on the cultural and social development of the region.
