Currently, I'm a graduate student in the physics department at UCSD. I've been here for just about 8 years now, and I'm studying experimental quantum computing.

I practice Aikido at Ryushinkan Dojo here in San Diego, and currently hold the rank of 1st Kyu.

I've played piano since I was a child. I started playing the hammered dulcimer a few years back as well. Recently, my girlfriend and I have been working on some piano duets (one piano, four hands) written by Mozart. Some of them are lame, and some of them are cool.

And that's most of what you really should know about me. There's more, but I'll write something a little more prosey in the future; This is mostly a listing of facts.
