Overview
Mia Williams, MD, MS is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at UCSF, practicing at the General Internal Medicine Practice at Divisadero Street.
She is involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education and her teaching efforts include precepting medical students and resident trainees in internal medicine continuity clinic. Her interests include feedback, mentorship and sponsorship, quality improvement for the care of patients with limited English proficiency, and anti-oppression in medical education. She serves as Associate Program Director of the UC-Primary Care Residency in Internal Medicine and is a member of the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators.
Dr. Williams is a graduate of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, where she also completed her Master's in Clinical Research. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF as part of the UC-Primary Care Program.
