I'm reading by fandom, in no particular order. :-)Eureka:Five, er, Six Reports Nathan Stark Wishes Never Crossed His Desk -- it's a cute, gen, Eureka ficlet. It captures the character of the show - very hilarious. Also, there is a Who/Torchwood reference.Downtime - It's Carter/Stark slash-lite. It's very cute, and SARAH is there, being SARAH.Please Discuss Only Approved Topics With Your AI - This story is just fantastic and, as you can tell by the title, all about SARAH and Jack. :-) SARAH starts messing with his lovelife. Hijinks ensue. It's a bit dirty and has some Vincent/Fargo, but that's not the focus of the story.That Kind of Day - Jo/Taggart - it's cute. :-) Those Who Remember the Future - Gen fic, AU to the season finale. VERY well done. The Office:One If By Land, Two If By Sea - A perfect post ep to A Benihana Christmas. It really captures the style of the show. It has perfect Dwight and Dwight/Angela. With some nice mentions of Bob Vance (of Vance Refrigeration) All the Patient States - Pam/Toby. A really well done take on these two. (with some hilarious Michael thrown in on the side)Judging Amy: Useful Things - Amycentric Gen Fic post the series finale. The voices are excellent. Muppets:If You Can't Say Anything Nice - How Waldorf and Statler came to be in theater. Very funny and cute. Arrested Development:Have Yourself a Very Bluth Christmas - This is probably the best AD fic I have ever read. It's written like an episode of the show, has an excellent use of the narrator, and just spot on characterization for everyone else. Yes, because I would lie about leaving you with my brand new power cord because I want to fight you on it. Nope. Sorry, you lost it. (3) The Brad Paisley Christmas song, Penguin, James Penguin is making my night. I think it's the best Christmas song every. Best Line: "He's Penguin, James Penguin, that dapper little guy. Like a well dressed duck in a three piece tux, he's Santa secret spy."(4) pentapus drew John and Rodney and My Little Ponies and it really made my morning. It's so adorable!(5) I watched Deal, or No Deal tonight and it reminded me why I can only watch that show once a month or so. It gets very annoying, very fast. (6) I need a holiday icon. So I started looking for fic, (mostly Abby/McGee, but you know me, I'll read anything.) And I came across a fic that was NC-17 and only 78 words. I'm at work, so I can't open it, but I would think that has to just be 78 words of filthiness given the length and the rating! And I found a few other cringe worthy things, so yeah, I'm done blindly looking for fic. I know I have a lot of NCIS people on my flist, so where is the good fic?* Rec me! I'll take any pairing or gen (preferably het). I've seen a grand total of 2.5 episodes, but I don't care about spoilers. Any season, any pairing, preferably R or less so I can open it at work. :-)*I mean good fic written by people who are not on my flist or that can be found on ncis_haven, I already know about you guys.
