| | (1) Girlmore Girls is over. I really enjoyed the finale. It's sad to think it's not coming back - I really loved that show. (2) American Idol - ( Spoilers!Collapse )(3) Lost - ( Spoilers for Greatest Hits Collapse )(4) Veronica Mars has been canceled. ::is sad:: but too much. I'm actually okay with it not coming back. (5) My husband made me a color coded TV grid breaking down the upcoming TV season into shows he watches, I watch, and we watch. It's so cool. Also, I watch a lot of TV.(6) We're still picking through new summaries and trying to decide what we might like, and what might not be canceled. This year we tried (by tried I mean watched at least 2 episodes): Heroes, Knights of Prosperity The Nine, Studio 60, Black Donnellys, 30 Rock, Andy Barker, Drive, and Ugly Betty. Of those only Heroes, 30 Rock and Ugly Betty are returning. That's not good. (7) Crossing Jordan isn't coming back but Las Vegas is. I haven't watched the last episode of CJ yet, but I doubt it ties up all loose ends. I saw casting spoilery caps and had to watch. I am still spoiler free for the rest of the season. I'm totally in love with Jordan/Danny. I can't wait for new episodes to come back. NCIS - Switch and Honor Code (I got the Season 1 DVD for Christmas. I can't wait to catch up on it. I love this show!)Saturday - smittywing came over and we started off on watching Voyager and then went through every series except Enterprise. They were my first sci-fi fannish love and it's so much fun sitting around and watching them. Sunday - We watched a lot of football and Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve, hosted by Ryan SecreastMonday - Las Vegas - Father of the Bride Redux, Died in Plain Sight, and The Story of Owe. When did this show decide it wanted to be The Unit, a romantic comedy, The Office, Crossing Jordan, and a show about a hotel all rolled into one? It's horrible. Also, I'm quite annoyed about ( Spoilers Collapse ) I've also been trying to catch up on DaVinci's Inquest. I just started Season 5, and this show just gets better and better. I missed the first episode of Season 5, so I've missed a few things, but I think I've caught up on a lot of it.Big Enough Fan, Run By The Monkeys, At First It Was Funny, Dizzy Looking Down, God Forbid We Call It What It Is, and _Doing The Chicken Scratch._In fun fannish notes - BATES! He's been in quite a few episodes. Yay for Constable Carter. :-) Also, Paul Davis is very skuzzy. Really, I think it's one of the best comedies on TV, and if it keeps going the way it's going, it will be up there as one of the best comedies ever for me. I was reading technosage's review, and I have to go back there to comment, but I agree with a lot of what she said. I hope it sticks around for a while because I think its a show I really could love.(3) Numb3rs As much as I complain about this show, I really do like it, the problem is, first season I loved it. I was reading reviews on TV Squad, about Provenance, and I found this one line that pretty much sums up my feelings for the show It was good (Numb3rs always is), but you've seen this one before.(4) The Unit We're a week behind - which should say something. Last weeks episode was good, but nothing special. ( Spoilers for The Kill Zone Collapse )(5) Gilmore Girls Surprisingly, I didn't care that I missed last weeks episode. I feel like this is going to be a repeat of my reviews above where I say, the show was good, but not great. I'm quite glad my flist finally convinced me to watch this. :-)(8) My Name is Earl ( Spoilers for Sticks & Stones Collapse )(9) Farscape I'm about 1/3 of the way through season 1 and it is so hard not to go around and spoil myself silly. For the few episodes I've seen, I'm watching them on the DVD with commentary. I'm really looking forward to next week. The cast is a fantastic who's who of 90's TV! ( Spoilers Collapse )(7) Lost - I wasn't planning on watching this, I generally save up the episodes and marathon them, but then Project Runway didn't come through (we lost signal for part of it) so I watched it. It was good, but I will never get deeply into this show. There is just way too much going on, and honestly I don't care enough to try and sort it all out. However, ( Spoilers Collapse )(8) This would be Gilmore Girls but do to human error it didn't get Tivo'd. (9) Eureka - For those who haven't heard the wonderful news - it's been renewed! Yay! The season finale was fantastic, and I'm sad we have to wait until next summer to get more. We still have to watch Boston Legal, Project Runway, The Unit, and CSI: NY. There is too much good TV on! (I started this post before I saw Sam at lunch.
