Number of vids I made a note of at vidukon to download when I got home: ~90
Number of vids I have downloaded since vidukon: 62
Overlap between these two groups: 14
Ratio of vidukon vids I have downloaded to non-vidukon vids I have downloaded: ~1:3.5
In conclusion: I AM WAY TOO EASILY DISTRACTED BY VIDS YOU GUYS
(The advantage to having been out of the vidding loop for so long is that THERE ARE SO MANY EXCELLENT VIDS FOR ME TO WATCH. The disadvantage to me having been out of the vidding loop for so long is THERE ARE TOO MANY EXCELLENT VIDS FOR ME TO WATCH.)

Things I have done since vidukon:
Started using Dreamwidth, maybe.
Decided I need to go through every single SPN vid I have on my computer and delete the ones that no longer speak to me since having fallen mostly out of love with the show.
Watched 18 of the SPN vids I have, and deleted two.
Started pondering some vidshow ideas for next vidukon, and mentally putting together playlists.
Begun looking into vidding software again.
Tidied about ten vids out of my unsorted vids folder and into my sorted vids folder.
Downloaded some vids that are entirely unrelated to any vid watching or discussion that happened at vidukon.
Things I have not done since vidukon:
- Downloaded any of the ~90 vids I marked down on my con booklet that I wanted to download.
WELP.
My personal failiness aside, OMG SUCH A GOOD CON. *__* Watching vids and talking vids and learning about vidding with awesome vid people. I AM SO READY FOR NEXT TIME. :DDD

Okay, so I have discovered a problem with watching Battlestar Galactica when you are a Dexter fangirl.
And that is that I've reached 2.06, and James Remar has turned up, and I am just finding it very, very hard not to see him as an advice hallucination. I have to keep reminding myself more that one person can see and hear him.
It doesn't actually help that BSG does have advice hallucinations, it's just that he's not one of them.
I might give in and let myself think of him as a hallucination. I HAVE TO CONCENTRATE SO HARD NOT TO.
I AM JUST CONDITIONED TO THINK "ONLY ONE CHARACTER CAN HEAR THIS" AT THE SOUND OF HIS VOICE.

NGL, probably the best thing about the finale was all the potential they built up for exploration of Deb's character next season. Preferably AAAAALLLLL of next season.

So my reaction to Supernatural this week ended up mostly just being "NO. NO. SAM. WHY. SAM. A PICNIC? SERIOUSLY? BUT WHY IS THE DOG CALLED RIOT??? OH MY GOD WHO IS WRITING THIS SOMEONE HIT THEM REPEATEDLY WITH A BOOK ON CHARACTERISATION."
So I think I'll just leave it at that to be honest. UGH. SPN. Why do I even watch you?
OTOH, I am throughly enjoying Arrow and you should all watch it too! GUYS. It's about a dude deciding to become a vigilante after being stranded on an island for five years. He is all feral and PTSD-y. WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE? Also, the main character has excellent slashy chemistry with his bodyguard and excellent incesty chemistry with his sister. Also he keeping doing kind of delightful workout routines while shirtless.
