He really wished he could be surprised the base was being invaded again, but he should have expected it. At least this time they had ARMOR, and knew how to handle these things. It would also be Anakin's baptism of fire in the soldierly talents. With Wedge, and himself there he should be fine, but Kyle still couldn't stop worrying just a little about his student. Arriving he started checking his gear again while he waited for the others. Yep, still enough explosives to blow up a Star Destroyer.

He was happy to have his best friend back, but at the same time he was kind of nervous. He couldn't help but remember how shocked and horrified Wedge had been after the whole drunk with Anakin incident ... granted, Tycho had been equally shocked and horrified, but he'd since had time to get over it. He didn't know about Wedge ... plus, so much had happened since Wedge had left. Anakin thinking he was Darth Vader, and Halloween, and Ferus ... It was going to be an interesting conversation, to say the least.

Wedge had arrived a bit early while his pilots were still at breakfast, and was busily programming the day's scenario into the computer. There were a few applicants who would need some hands on teaching, but thankfully he had Tycho, Wes, and Hobbie to help him with that if he needed it. Once the programming was done, he sat down in front of the small briefing area and waited for the pilots to arrive.

When would everyone get here and could they have lots of cake and ice cream and would everyone remember to bring him presents? The apartment was clean and tidy for once, except for the ridiculous number of multi-coloured balloons all over the place. Games were stacked up next to the X-box for probable play later; there were plates of cookies everywhere (Wes had tried making a cake, but the results had to be scraped into the trash); and there were arrows on the wall -- in bright crayon that Wes wasn't entirely sure would wash off -- leading towards the bathroom.Cal was leaning against the front door, holding it open and waiting for people to show up.

NOT RUNNING OFF ON YOUR OWN HALF-ASSED SUICIDE MISSIONS ANAKINSeveral people have suggested, and I agree, that splitting our resources only makes us weak, and we should go after our target one at a time, with full strength.I beleive we should take out our strongest enemies first, so they do not hinder fighting the other ones. I've done some reaserch, and I think we should take the Joker out first, because he could seriously mess with our fights. Then Vader, because he protects TSO. Then TSO. Then Dethklok last, because they probably won't cause too much damage during the time it takes us to get to them. We should also probably isolate each of our enimies so we're fighting them one on one, and not letting them reinforce themselves.So:1. get Joker alone and take him out2. draw out Vader with bait and take him out3. TSO should be alone at this point, take her out4. take out Dethklok5. close the riftComments, suggestions, ideas? (PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, HAVE THEM!!!!)

One minute he'd been about to land at Cloud City on Bespin, the next he'd been in a corridor in some strange base. A minute after that he'd been swarmed by people carrying slugthrowers, who'd escorted him to one "General O'Neill," for "debriefing." Not like he could've fought them all off anyway. Not that he wasn't tempted.O'Neill had politely (or not so politely, now that he thought about it), informed him that he was stuck on this military base for the forseeable future. Oh, he was also a fictional character. Naturally, Luke had scoffed at the idea. After that, they'd sent him on his way.It had to be some sort of Imperial trick. _Then again, the Imperials would've already hauled me to the torture chamber... Besides, why would they try and fool me with such an insane story? Not to mention, they wouldn't have let me keep my gear._Skywalker fingered the lightsaber at his side. He'd arrived with nothing but his flightsuit, blaster, helmet, personal comlink, and tan jumpsuit. No Artoo, no X-Wing, no supplies, nothing. This was insane! How did a whole planet just vanish out from under him and then put him somewhere else?_I also thought the Empire couldn't blow up a whole planet..._And then there was the frustrating of issue of being stuck here. He couldn't be stuck here! Not with Han and Leia in danger, not to mention the Rebel Fleet, the rendevous, Rogue Squadron, and all of his responsibilities! He couldn't just sit here and wait for the Imperials to...!With a long, exasperated sigh he slumped against the wall, running his hands through his hair. Breathe in. Breathe out. Deeeeeep breaths. Remember Master Yoda and Ben. Let the Force flow through you. Slowly, but surely, he began to calm down, his muscles relaxing. There would be a solution here somewhere. Right now, he needed a calm head and rational thoughts. Still...He glanced down at the official looking pintout that they'd given him. It detailed where he could find his apartment. Might as well do that. He began to thread his way through the corridors and byways of the base, giving the people curious glances as they passed. What an odd place this was. But surely, there had to be someone here who could tell him what was really going on.

He had his flight helmet tucked under one arm and he occasionally glanced up and down the corridor, trying to appear as innocent and nonchalant as possible. This was going to be the best day ever. How often did he get Wedge to drink, let alone drunk? And this was Wedge's younger self. Sure, he felt a bit guilty, but it wasn't like he and Wes were going to hurt him. It was just some harmless fun with alcohol. Besides, he and Wes... Well, make that just him. He was responsible enough. Sort of. At least he'd brought his holocamera. Tonight was going to have a lot of priceless moments.

Even if she was trapped in an alternate dimension, she was going to keep her skills sharp. So, she set to work, after procuring some decent work-out clothes from the base personnel. First she had stretched, then run a few laps to get warmed up. She followed the run with a run-though of an acrobatics set. Hand-springs, flips, rolls, squats, and falls. After she'd worked up a sweat, she began doing her martial arts exercises, going through the movements to keep them fresh in her memory. After four years, she felt like they were burned into her brain, but that was no excuse. Finally, she paused to hydrate, toweling sweat off of her skin as she drank water from a bottle (also thoughtfully provided by the base personnel). This place wasn't too bad, she decided. It just wasn't... home. And at home, she'd never had to worry about certain feelings...

[Tags**|allana djo, anakin skywalker (redeemed), han solo, riley freeman, wedge antilles]Who**: Anakin Skywalker, (and whoever wants to give him a hard time while he's shitfaced)Where: The barWhat: Drowning his sorrowsMorbid curiousity had gotten the better of him, and while his meditation chamber was being assembled Anakin found an unoccupied vid-theatre and watched the 'Star Wars' holos. Bad idea. They were all there. Qui-Gon, Kenobi, his mother...Padme_._ The most important moments of his life covered in a few disks worth of film...impossible, but sickeningly real. How easily he could see through Palpatine's lies now, cringe at his arrogance and foolish reliance on youth and raw power. How many other people had seen it, he couldn't say, but he knew that destroying these copies would be of no use. His stomach turned at the assault of the Temple (Force, the younglings...) and when the ominous fiery sphere of Mustafar appeared on the screen, he knew he wouldn't be able to finish the holos sober. It had been fairly easy to persuade the bartender to fill his emergency nutrition bags with a clear intoxicant called 'gin', and after his first pull on the tube Anakin knew he'd picked the right drink for self-flagellation. It burned like fire and smelled like bacta.He hadn't intended to stay down at the bar, preferring instead to get pleasantly drunk in the privacy of his hopefully-finished meditation chamber. However, one pull on the tube turned to two, then three, and soon he was having the nutrition bag refilled while he showed holos of his children and grandchild (which he'd recieved along with something called a 'wallet' to hold currency) to anyone who would listen.
