Not any less painful or less stressful, not better in any way, really. Just...different. For one, she didn't wake up naked covered in a slick, white liquid, surrounded by her brothers and sisters. The race she had betrayed. No, Sharon instead found herself on the floor of a random hallway, clothed in her regulation pants and tanks. Sweat glued her hair to her face, and screams erupted from her mouth, a mouth that didn't feel like her own.She just lay there, her body shaking as she screamed, for who knows how long. Seconds. Minutes. Maybe hours. And then finally, it was as if her mind and her body collided. They were one again. She sat up, startled, ending the screams now that she had control over her own mouth again. She gasped for air, taking in her surroundings.Lee.Lee shot her.I'm not the Sharon you knew. I didn't have an affair with the Chief, I didn't leave Helo behind on Caprica... And I'm not the Sharon who shot your father... _"What?! What did you just say?""No...you don't want to do this... I didn't hurt your father...I never would..."_The gunshots echoed through her mind like it was a hollow cave.Hera. Helo. Oh, God.They were next.

[Tags**|hera agathon, kara thrace, karl "helo" agathon, lee adama, sharon "athena" agathon] [Current Mood**	rejuvenated]WHO: Sharon, Lee, maybe Helo later?WHAT: Lee's just recently found out Sharon's a Cylon, so who knows what his random meeting with her in the hallway will lead to.WHERE: HallwaySharon smiled to herself, humming a random tune that she had heard Hera singing earlier that day. She was pleasantly surprised by how good things had been going for her and her family as of late. She wasn't going to deny how tense she had been about the Kara and Lee situation, despite Helo's reassurances. Because according to her husband, this Kara and Lee didn't know about Kobol, New Caprica...they hadn't even known that she was a Cylon. She remembered what it was like to be aboard Galactica shortly after the other Sharon had been revealed as a Cylon, after she had shot the Admiral. She remembered how long it had taken to gain their trust, how many of her colleagues still didn't trust her. To start all over with them, to not have the experiences of places like Caprica and Kobol to show them who she really was... it was like reliving a nightmare.And yet, here she was smiling and humming, off to the ice cream parlor to get a cone and a shake for her husband and their daughter. Maybe she felt better because Helo and Kara had finally sat down and talked. She knew things weren't perfect between them, and she knew that she was a great source of tension between them. But they'd had an entire conversation without either of them throwing a punch; she considered that a victory.Or maybe she felt better because tonight Helo had the night off, a rare occurrence. Seeing Hera smile, beyond happy that she had an entire evening with her father, made Sharon beyond happy, too. And she could see how ecstatic it made Helo feel, how much he enjoyed having a night with his family, a night without dealing with any of the problems that were outside their little room. Her smile widened into a grin. Yup. Tonight, they were just like any other family. Tonight, everything was perfect.Until Sharon rounded a corner and walked straight into Lee Adama.

She had been lying in bed for hours. Had she slept? She thought she had, at least for a little bit. But not much. No, it had mostly just been staring, mentally tracing the patterns of the four circles inside one another on the blank canvas of the ceiling. Yellow. Blue. Red. Yellow.She finally sat up, frustrated, running her hands through her short blonde hair. Why did she let it bother her? It was a toaster. A machine. Her enemy. And yet, three rounds to the head later, and she couldn't sleep. Gods, she was the best shot in the Fleet, in or out of the cockpit; she'd taken the kill shot before. So why was this getting to her? Why was Leoben getting to her?Maybe because, with him, it wasn't over. No, she'd put three rounds into that face, and yet that face would soon be seen again. She knew he wouldn't stay away; he couldn't. The "voices" in his mind wouldn't let him. She'd seen him die twice now. How many more times? And how many of those would be by her hand? How many until he finally decided it was enough? How many until he actually fought back?Kara ran her hands through her hair again, muttering, "Son of a bitch." She threw back the covers, revealing her sports bra and her workout pants. She walked over to her dresser and pulled out a pair of tanks, pulling them on. Then she started searching for her shoes. Today was definitely a day when hitting the bag in her room wasn't going to cover it. She needed to go to the gym.

[Tags**|karl "helo" agathon, sharon "athena" agathon] [Current Mood**	contemplative]WHO: Sharon and Helo (possibly Hera as well)WHAT: Catching upWHERE: Their quartersSharon hummed softly as she folded one of Hera's shirts, once again looking over at her daughter who was taking a nap on the room's couch. She sighed as she set the shirt on the table that was stacked with laundry. So much had happened. And she was still trying to process it all. It had been hard enough arriving here, finding out about the fact that there were different universes and that, in this one, the people in the base all seemed to be from books and television shows. But then Hera's arrival on the base and Leoben's kidnapping of her...Sharon shuddered. Since that day, she had not let Hera out of her sight. Helo went off to work, protecting the people of the base, and Sharon looked after Hera. And while it was hard not being home on Galactica, she was enjoying spending time with her daughter. They spent hours together laughing and playing and just walking through the base. And Sharon watched her like a hawk. She had heard about the arrival of Lee and Kara on the base, but they had arrived during the chaos with Hera; apparently they had even had a hand in rescuing her. Still, Sharon had been preoccupied with her safety since then, not yet having the chance to go and see either of them. But she wanted to. She wanted to thank them. And maybe their presence on the base would make it feel a little more like home.Sharon looked at the clock that hung on the wall. Helo's ARMOR shift would be ending soon. Hopefully they would actually get a chance to sit down and talk. They had so much to catch up on when it came to the events of the last few days. That and ...well, alone time was never a bad thing. She smiled at the thought.

She was still wondering what this place was exactly. Seemed to be military, but she hadn't exactly stuck around to do a Q & A with Helo about where they were.A child with a Cylon.Gods, every time the thought entered her mind, she was enveloped in disbelief. He had been her best friend. One of the most trustworthy people she knew, always doing the right thing. If someone would have told her a month ago that Helo was going to betray her----even worse than that, with a frakkin Cylon---she would've slugged them in the mouth. But now...Maybe he was under some Cylon mind control. There was so much he believed to have occured that hadn't. Things about her being with him on Caprica, about escaping Raiders, about his Cylon lover helping the fleet time and time again... And the baby. There was no way it could've been born, let alone grown to be a toddler in such a short time. ....Maybe it had though. Maybe Cylons didn't need a lot of time to breed. Maybe it was just about manufacturing......Kara finally sat up against the wall, still fighting back the tears that had threatened to spill over when she confronted Helo. Wherever this place, whatever it was, it wasn't good. It had ripped her from her world and placed her in an environment with crazy-ass Leoben, with a best friend she no longer really knew. Gods, what she wouldn't do for a drink right about now.
