The theoretical approaches and also the practice in organizational change show us that there is n... more The theoretical approaches and also the practice in organizational change show us that there is no such thing as a pre-defined solution, that we cannot say about an organization perspective if it is good or bad, but we can say about it that it is appropriate, in accordance with the organization objectives, that it answers to the national specific and also to the economic and social context. The pre-established solutions do not have an absolute value, they represent only recommendations for establishing the actions regarding the organization management, the applying of the performance management instruments, the developing of the transformation abilities, the change implementation. In this situation, a question arises: Why does a useful and necessary transformation needed to accomplish the organization objectives face a resistance? Besides the personal interests and attitudes, the resistance explanations should be sought in the lack of correlation between the institutional objectives and individual ones, an area which is not enough regulated by the organizational culture, but more often at a high level of inadequacy between the structure and the categories of objectives mentioned above. We appreciate as being essential the learning capacity proved by the organization; the innovative side must face the human nature which preserves its comfort created by the routine, developing the tendency of denial for every change.

We argue that the principles and practices specific to the performance management can be used as ... more We argue that the principles and practices specific to the performance management can be used as levers in the education system and in the professional training of military personnel, especially in the higher military education system. We will focus particularly on the most important aspects of performance management: planning and goal setting, monitoring, evaluation and feedback. Beyond the conceptual aspects, we will discuss the implications that these practices have on the teaching-learning process and we will highlight their value in the military academia by elaborating on how they can be applied in three problematic situations. Thus, this article provides teachers and instructors in the military education system with learning-oriented methods that will create a productive classroom environment and highlights the opportunities that students have and the benefits at the institutional level.

The field of campaign services is currently the most complex area of logistical support, as it co... more The field of campaign services is currently the most complex area of logistical support, as it covers a wide range of services, requires cooperation between military bodies and various institutions, entities involved in providing them and requests promptness from planning and logistical management bodies in immediately solving the various problems that may arise. As part of the campaign services, feeding the personnel and providing water, as subsistence services. in the quantity and quality standards provided by the instructions, directly influences the health of the military and contributes to maintaining a high morale of the military. In order to give a more accurate overview of the influence of this functional field on the actions of the mechanized brigade in the operation, we will detail for each subsistence services some theoretical and practical aspects that we consider important.

In this sense, the knowledge of the structures, their role and their responsibilities, from a logistical point of view, is just as important as the knowledge of the policies, strategies or regulations of this extremely important field.

At present, the TRL scale is used as an instrument in decision making regarding investments in re... more At present, the TRL scale is used as an instrument in decision making regarding investments in research and development also at EU level. This requires different methods to make this instrument operational by adjusting (or understanding) TRL definitions. The scale must be adapted to the specific purpose of the funding by the EU of CDI programmes, because it does not approach the feedback mechanisms that are part of the innovation processes. This paper analyses conceptually and contextually the TRL scale also used in acquisitions of military equipment, in order to emphasize the necessity of the scale so that it corresponds to the purpose of the European decision makers.
