The testametum was written with ink on a wooden tablet on April 12th AD 340. Iulius Pompeianus, the otherwise unknown testator, designates as heirs his children Iulius Ianuarius, Iulius Iahin und Iulia Victorina. The will reflects the use of traditional iuridical formulas in the 4th century in northern Africa (provincia Byzacena?).
