This implies reflections on the relationships between mathematics and law; thus, is it possible to apply the mathematical concept of limit to the law? The study aims to approach a theory regarding the fact that a philosophical rather than a mathematical limit is applicable to the law, whereby in legal systems, there are limits of law and limits within the law. Roman law provides us with examples of both, as well as examples of fusion.

ABSTRACT - ENG
The paper would like to offer some food for thought about Game Theory and its application on the Roman civil procedure. This is just a preliminary study, which aims to realize an interdisciplinarity between Roman Law and other subjects. The author argues that the various Roman civil procedures could be considered as an expression of the Game Theory, to which the Roman civilization could not think or guess, but pragmatically realize as it did.

In margin of these preliminary notes, the author offers some reflections about the esoterism of archaic Roman law, trying to read the history of the fundation of Rome and the subsequent rise of Law infrom an esoteric point of view.

Oriental Churches. Ancient canons of the Councils held during
the First Millennium, have prescribed the necessity to convoke
and to hold annual synods. Two Novels (123 and 137) enacted
by Emperor Justinian the Great (527-565) are also very important
because he has provided norms about the synod. Hence, in the
current article, the author offers some hints about the
relatioships between the Novels of Justinian and canons of the
First Millennium and thus indicating the ancient roots of the
present code. It also shows how even today Roman law strongly
influences Eastern canon law.
