The concept of exteriorization is not important within the phenomenological tradition as has within the philosophy of technology. However, one of the crucial problems highlighted by Derrida’s critique of
Husserl is the problem of expression, which is undoubtedly closely linked to the problem of exteriorization. Husserl recognizes the need to distinguish between two different kinds of signifiers, namely, expressions and indications. The essay aims to analyse the theoretical legitimacy of this distinction. Behind this issue lies another problem, namely, understanding the relationship between language and technology. If it is true that exteriorization is one of the essential characteristics, of technology, analysing the distinction between indications and expressions means questioning the connection between technology and language.

The first section poses the problem of exteriorization from a general perspective, in which the reference to the life sciences and the biological sciences is central; the second section tightens the field, analysing the question of exteriorization from a more anthropological perspective; in the third, the reference to Derrida, Stiegler and the problems of writing and memory is central; finally, in the last section, the problem of exteriorization is approached from a perspective closer to media theory.

The interpretation that I will propose does not refer primarily to Heidegger-the author of one of the most discussed readings of the Critique of Pure Reason-but rather to Husserl's The Phenomenology of Internal Time-Consciousness. I would like to show that, using the Husserlian theory of intuitive acts, it is possible to rethink the distinction between productive and reproductive imagination, accounting for some of the contradictions in the Kantian texts.

Garroni Estetica. Uno sguardo attraverso. I will try to show that, from Garroni's point of view, the work of art can be considered an exemplary object for two reasons: firstly because it has a normative value, in the sense that it establishes a new rule; secondly because the rule it establishes cannot be translated into conceptual terms. In the second part of the essay, I will use the notion of exemplarity to analyse some passages of the Critique of Judgment. I will argue that the distinction between reflective and determinative judgement can be rethought as a distinction between two different modes of exemplification. Finally, in the last part of the article, I will show that for Kant to present a concept means to exemplify it, and I will distinguish between the different modes of presentation (Darstellung) that are described in the First Critique and in the Third Critique. In particular, I will distinguish between: A) schematic presentation of a pure concept of the intellect; B) presentation of an empirical concept in an example; C) indirect presentation of an idea; D) schematic presentation of an empirical concept not yet known (exemplary case); E) aesthetic presentation of formal purposiveness of nature (in natural beauty); F) presentation (by the genius) of a rule of beautiful art.

The aim of this article is to highlight and discuss two problems of the biological philosophy of technology. In particular, I will analyse the work of André Leroi-Gourhan and Gilbert Simondon, and I will show that (a) the meaning of the analogy between technical and natural objects that underlies the approach of the biological philosophy of technology remains problematic and (b) the biological approach to technology is very effective for analysing tools and machines, but is not sufficient to describe the so-called information technologies. In the last part of the article, I will argue that, in order to understand information technologies, it is necessary to integrate the biological approach to technology with a grammatological approach. I will try to show that, next to the tool and the machine, there is a third category of technical objects that can be better described using the notion of "writing" proposed by one of the masters of the so-called French Thought, Jacques Derrida.

Hegel distinguishes two forms of memory: on the one hand, recollection (Erinnerung), which presents the past in an intuitive form, and on the other hand, memory (Gedächtnis), which is described as a psychic mechanism. The relationship between these two forms of memory leads one to think that technique is not only something that is outside consciousness, but also something that structures the space of interiority. In particular, in Derrida's texts we can find three arguments that support the paradoxical hypothesis of an interiority of technique: in all three arguments repetition is the essential problem. In order to analyse the relationship between memory and technique it is therefore necessary to understand the meaning that repetition assumes in the psychic life of the subject.

This interpretation is explicitly banned by Eco. Starting from the 80's he began a polemic against theories that seem to deny any limit to interpretation. Deconstruction is often mentioned as the most important example of these kind of theories. However Eco criticizes the most popular and untrustworthy interpretation of deconstruction. The aim of this paper is to show that the contrast between Eco's theory and deconstruction is not so evident as he would like to believe.

Referring to the work of J. von Uexküll, I will define environment as the set of perceptual and operational possibilities that a living being projects into its surroundings. Recalling the distinction between world and environment proposed by Scheler and Heidegger, I will show that augmented perception implies a redefinition of the openness that defines the human world.
