The hives must be able to produce a high amount ofhoney to compensate with the production costs. In this paper we made a study forestablishing the necessary hive type to be used in pastoral beekeeping. Three hivetypes were used (horizontal, multileveled and vertical) during the linden andsunflower harvests. The study showed the utility of using the last hive type for thiskind of beekeeping.

The biological material aged 3-5 has been collected through an electric fishing device from the basin of the Nădrag River, a river from the Banat Hydrographical Space, Timis Hydrographical Basin. The number of collected individuals from the aquatic environment for the investigation was 60. After the collection, the biological material has been anesthetized with MS-222 for reducing stress induced by actions undergone within the working protocol. Any characteristic that regards the body development at Schneider females in the Nădrag River is directly proportional to the development of another characteristic. Thus one of the characters change, entails the change of other in the same direction. The most connections of Schneider females are positively connected with thresholds between p 0.05).

We used this experiment to analyze the anti-nutritional NSP’s effect of the wheat introduced in the compound feed in a proportion of 60 % and also of the compound feed including wheat in a proportion of 30 % and barley in a proportion of 30 %, on the digestive indices in broilers. To these, we added the variants with introduction of xylanase, in an amount of 100 ppm, and to counteract the anti-nutritional effect of the wheat and barley-based NSP, we introduced 50 ppm xylanase and 50 ppm beta glucanase. We also determined the coefficients of correlation between the digestive coefficient values (intestinal viscosity) and the soluble, insoluble and total NSP contents. The introduction of the wheat-specific enzyme in compound feed in a proportion of 60 % (LE3) or 30 % wheat and 30 % barley (LE5) determine vis...

Wheat's percentage of participation in the forage mixture was between 0 and 40 %. The experiment was performed during 6 weeks, on 120 broilers distributed in four experimental variants (CG, EG1, EG2, and EG3). Between eclosion and 3-week old, the content in soluble non-starch polysaccharides (NSPs) increases directly proportional with the wheat proportion in the structure of the forage mixture, becoming 0.718 percentage points bigger in EG3 than in the EG1. During the second period of growth, respectively from 3 to 6 weeks, the NSPs content has the same evolution, with 0.7 percentage points in EG3. At the age of 3 weeks, viscosity increases with the increase of wheat percentage in the structure of the combined forage, being 53.07 % bigger in the group that was fed on the 40%-wheat forage. At 6 weeks, ...

In this sense, these researches have been carried out in the Poultry Sector from the, BUASVM Timisoara, during 2005-2006, in permanent bedding shed. The researches concerning the study of synthetic amino acid optimization within laying hens food were performed on 269"Shaver 579" hens' hybrid. In the ascendant part of the laying curve, there were being observed 69 laying hens, shared in 3 lots. The experiment used 3 different fodder recipes, with the afferent protein levels, situated at 17%, 16% and respectively 15%. Methionine (0.38%) and lysine (0.80%) levels were maintained as NRC (1994) requirements by supplying with different percents of synthesis amino acids. The egg production weight produced by the hens fed with the recipe with 16% BP, 0.81% lysine and 0.38% methionine has recorded an insignificant increase (p>0.05) compared to the egg production weight produced by the hens from the other groups (with 17 and respectively 15% BP). In the plateau phase, there were used 4 experimental lots by 25-hens/group. Among the experimental period (8 weeks) the poultries age was between 32 and 39 weeks. The used combined fodders contained different levels for protein (16.2%-group 1, respectively 15.2%-groups 2, 3 and 4), and for amino acids as follows: group 1 and 2-0.75% lysine and 0.38% methionine; group 3a decreased amino acids contain 0.70% lysine and 0.34% methionine; group 4-an increased amino acids contain 0.82% lysine and 0.42% methionine. The highest egg-mass production (50.07 g) was registered in group 4, where the diet contained a lower protein percent (15.2%), but the lysine was 0.82% and the methionine 0.42%. On the other side, the lowest egg-mass production (44.14 g) was obtained in lot 3, where the administrated fodder contains only 0.70% lysine and 0.34% methionine. Obvisiously the statistical differences were significant (p<0.001). The highest egg production weight was recorded in group 1 (41.14 g), whose combined fodder had a content of 14.9% BP, 0.70% lysine and 0.32% methionine. The lower egg production weight (39.41 g) was recorded in group 4, too, which was fed with a methionine-deficient fodder. In this phase, we do not recommend a supplementation with amino acids for the combined fodder.

For this purpose, 180 hen eggs were purchased on the local market. Once in the laboratory, the eggs were cleaned, marked and then stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of approximately 5ºC. The next day and every 7 days after, external characteristics (weight, measurements, shape indexes, volume and density) of all the eggs were evaluated and 60 eggs were then used for the analysis of internal characteristics (yolk and albumen indexes, Haugh unit, proportion of white, yolk, shell, edible parts...) and chemical cha...

Currently, due to its characteristics, coriander is widely used in the food, pharmaceutical and medical industry, in the cosmetics and perfume industry, but also in the zootechnical field, as an alternative to antibiotics, in raising young animals and birds. In this context, the aim of this study was to evaluate the additional effects of the diet of chickens with coriander powder on intestinal and liver morphology. The study was performed on a number of 24 broilers (ROS 308 hybrids), male, divided into two groups, each group with two replications, 6 individuals / group: Control group (CG) fed only by the basic diet and the experimental group (CoG) in which the basic diet was supplemented with 1% coriander powder. The duration of the experiment was 42 days. Supplementation of ...

The animals were registered with the Romanian Mioritic Association Club from Romania. Romanian Mioritic Shepherd Dog, was selected from a natural population breed in Carpathian Mountains. Following the analysis for the mean value and dispersion indices for those 13 body measurement was realized a better knowledge of the genetic structure of the population for these characters and was created the possibility of estimating sexual dimorphism. Also, this paper highlighted the following reports of the characters analyzed at the males taken in the study: the ratio between the average of length and width skull was 1.00:1.02 the ratio between the average of length skull and the average of length muzzle was 1.36:1.00 and between average of the width...

The study involved 120 individuals with similar biometric measurements, caught from a local fish farm and equally divided in four experimental groups, as follows: C group (without treatment), E1 group (75 ppm Pb into water as Pb(NO 3 ) 2 x ½H 2 O), E2 group (75 ppm Pb into water+2% lyophilized cilantro in feed), E3 group (75 ppm Pb into water+2% lyophilized spirulina in feed). Tissue samples (gills, muscle myotomers–epaxial, heart, skin and scales, intestine, liver, brain, gonads, kidney) were collected at the end of a 21 days experimental period. Atomic absorption measurements of the analytes were carried out with a AAS-VARIAN model. Data analyses were performed using a SPPS IBM 22 software package. Significance of differences in the m...
