Decorating and processing precious stones are included in handicraft, an art as old as the history of Iran. Minerals and precious stones were considered valuable since long ago and people used them as jewelry. As well as ornamental uses, these minerals have industrial uses and there are great demands for some of them like diamond led to make costume jewelry. Insurance industry must continuously search for the development of its performances through talen... more Insurance industry must continuously search for the development of its performances through talent management strategies in order to achieve new gains for its stakeholders and fulfill their needs and requirements since competition is much stiffed and forces of changes brought into the industry by recapitalization and consolidation. The study was carried out to find out whether talent management have an impact on achieving competitive advantage in the insurance industry by creating high performance of organization. So this paper reviewed related literatures with these concepts and then submitted the relationship between these variables. A combination of T-test and F-test and simple regression was the predominant means used for testing the main hypotheses. The study showed that talent management is crucial in organizational success and also concluded that insurance industry can improve their businesses and achieve a competitive advantage.

Furthermore, online media branding is growing at a very fast pace and is increasingly adopted not only by pure players companies but also by traditional firms. Researches on online branding of shopping products seem incomplete and there is still a lack of investigations. The present paper is an attempt to explore whether employing online media for branding leads to a significant increase in purchasing probability for shopping products associated with online media. For this purpose a survey was conducted among the selected three shopping product companies in the districts of Bangalore, Mysore, and Mangalore of Karnataka State of India with the help of a structured questionnaire and interview. Both primary and secondary data were used for the study. The 300 respondents were considered for collecting the data. Statistical and mathematical tools like percentages, cross tabulation table, t-test and ANOVA were used for data analysis. The study revealed that the online branding had a significant effects on consumer based overall brand equity in shopping products.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a reciprocal causation between TQM and knowledge management. Design/methodology/approach The main focus of literature review is focusing on common practices of TQM and knowledge management. In the next step, joint variance analysis method is used to reanalyze the results of the empirical studies linking TQM to knowledge management. This approach aims to divide the multiple correlation squared and demonstrate what portion is distinctly connected to predictor variables and what portion is on account of common variance among predictors. The present study attempted to investigate the importance of IT infrastructures on organization's competitive advantage to analyze the relationships among IT infrastructures, organizational agility, and competitive advantages in life Insurance Corporation in India. Drawing on the literature it was hypothesized that IT infrastructures was major source of competitive advantage. This research proposed a conceptual framework to examine the importance of IT infrastructures for competitive advantages. The model also examined how organizational agility mediated the effects of IT infrastructures on organization's competitive advantage. So, survey data were collected by appropriate questionnaire and interview. The results obtained by several appropriate tests supported the research hypotheses that IT infrastructure was significant source of competitive advantages; and organizational agility mediated the effects of IT infrastructures on competitive advantage of the organization.

Such actions necessitate organizations to be agile and to make frequent and rapid strategic, tactical and operational decisions. Making such decisions may need significant and relevant tools. In other hand, the world of tools which is supporting decision - making is very extensive and full of confusing and mystifying buzzwords. In this paper, we will focus on two basic types of software solutions that can be used to support decision making which are decision support systems (DSS) and business intelligence (BI).

Sales personnel development by performance management has become a matter of great concern in all... more Sales personnel development by performance management has become a matter of great concern in all developed and developing countries all over the world. This paper is an attempt to assess the impact of performance management on the development of sales personnel in life insurance industry. The study is based on a sample of leading insurance company selected from the population of Indian insurance industry that is Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India. Using structured content analysis, I have collected longitudinal data over the period of January 2010 to November 2012. Convenience sampling was used and the sample size is 100. For primary data 100 samples respondents were given questionnaires out of which 90 sample respondents had returned it that out of these 60 questionnaires have been taken up for analysis. My empirical result shows that performance management can lead to higher level of sales personnel development.
