The instrument used was an online questionnaire with several questions, starting from the identity of the teacher, the media used, the obstacles experienced by teachers in online learning and the teacher's perceptions of online learning today. The sample used was elementary to high school physical education teachers. The results showed that the use of learning application media was obtained for elementary school physical education teachers who preferred more to use social media WhatsApp for teachers aged <40 years = 49%, junior high school teachers aged 24-40 years = 35.54% preferred more to use google classroom, while high school teachers who were dominated by teachers aged 24-40 years = 34% using 3 learning application media with a small difference, namely, google classroom, Whatsapp and manual. The dominant use of applications in each educational unit cannot be denied, apart from the age factor, other things, namely, the geographical location factor and the ability of the human resources of the physical education teachers themselves.

This study examines the significance and challenges among the physical education students towards digital and distance learning. An online survey technique was adopted to conduct this study in Aligarh district schools with a number of 464 participants. The age group ranged from 15 to 19 years for all participants. All the students who participated in this survey were currently attending online classes during the COVID-19 outbreak. Semi-structured online questionnaires developed with Google Forms. A self-developed questionnaire was used to collect data. Questions are based on a five-point Likert scale from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree. The survey was circulated on the social media platform among students. Students give their consent and provide appropriate answer to each question. The average time taken by a student was 4-5 minutes to complete the survey. The results demonstrate that the physical education students are not voluntarily accepting online classes during the lockdown period, student are attending online classes the first time in their lives, many students have not been able to afford online classes, students have experienced stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and they feel so online learning is an added burden on them, the institution does not provide any technical training for student to become familiar with the online classes, and the students were not completely satisfied with the quality of these online learning classes. There is a need for teacher and school management to take measures to avoid student inconveniences in organizing digital and distance teaching and learning seamlessly.
Student Perceptions Related to Physical Education Online Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic
Proceedings of the International Joint Conference on Arts and Humanities 2021 (IJCAH 2021), 2022
Online learning has many views from all students, so it is necessary to know how students perceive it. This study aims to see the perception of students related to online learning of physical education. The author uses non-experimentation with a quantitative descriptive approach-subjects who have sampled as many as 35 students, with sampling techniques, namely cluster random sampling. The research place is National Senior High School in West Java. The study results were that students experienced internet network constraints of 80% due to uneven connections in each region. As many as 94.3% of students were easier to learn in the classroom by interacting directly with teachers. The limitation of this research is that few students are willing to fill out the questionnaire that has been distributed. This study concludes that students get help and support from schools and the government to carry out the online learning process.
Educational Challenges of E-Learning in Sport Majoring Higher Education Institutions
Conference Proceedings (part of ERAZ conference collection), 2019
Domain-specific cognitive competencies refer to generic skills, more specific to e-learning competencies in Physical education (PE) students over their academic lifespan. When higher education standards benchmark students' competence development, they relate to all educational stages. E-learning in sports sciences in Serbia is still being developed and is attracting attention of wider educational arena. Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Nis wanted to contribute more to this area trying to diminish limiting influence of technical and cultural factors. Therefore, the University of Nis and National Sports Academy established distance learning centers for sports sciences to promote e-learning and higher-level diploma attainment. This, in itself, poses educational and economic challenges as well. This paper presents problems, advantages and drawbacks of this IPA Cross-Border cooperation project, how after one-year joint distance learning centers in Serbia and Bulgaria for sports sciences were accredited, and how students benefited from it in the labor market thus meeting economic challenges of introducing distance learning mode of instruction. However, the objective of this paper is not only to describe learning environment and assessment of learning outcomes, but also to emphasize e-learning specific teaching methods and perceived and realistically acquired skills and abilities. Sports sciences courses at the Faculty of Sport in Nis aim to develop generic and sports specific skills. The underlying theory used is Sloan-C Five Pillars managing the quality of online education, its effects, students' satisfaction, teaching staff commitment, price and investment returns, and access. They encompass: 1) mode of learning, 2) integration manner, 3) forms of learning content and objectives delivery, 4) variety of sports sciences teaching methods, 5) participation of learning subjects, and 6) place of teaching method execution. 81% employers' satisfaction survey results point to the justification of introducing the e-learning mode in sports sciences at the Faculty of sport and physical education in Nis, Serbia.

Proceeding book Vol.2
It is an indisputable fact that the Covid 19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020 negatively impacted the life and health of people and changed the social, public, and economic situation around the world. The education system was also strongly affected and suffered a great number of changes. The measures taken for social isolation lead to a general reorganization of the education process. The lessons in physical education and sport - a compulsory subject of students’ general education also had to be transformed in the emergency situation. The direct form of interaction between the teacher and the students during in-person lessons (the traditional style) had to be reorganized in an online form. Because of the specificity of the subject, namely the motor-cognitive activities of the students during the physical education and sports lessons, learning new knowledge and developing motor skills and habits in an online environment proved to be a great challenge both for students and teachers. ...

Background. The academic educational process has undergone a series of procedural and didactic adjustments as a result of the current pandemic conditions, perceived especially in the vocational specializations. Methods. The study included 43 undergraduate students from the “G.E. Palade” UMFST Physical Education and Sports undergraduate program to which two questionnaires were applied: the first aiming at the index of p...

The paper identifies the perceptions of first-year undergraduate students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports in Galati on online teaching activities, dominant and needful in the current pandemic context. The questionnaire used contains 23 items and was structured based on four distinctive factors, namely attractiveness, accessibility, motivation and efficiency; it was applied after the winter session of the academic year 2020–2021. The values of the internal consistency coefficient Cronbach’s alpha indicate for the four mentioned factors a high fidelity for the measurements of the investigated features. The results of the 147 completed questionnaires allowed the definition of the independent variables sex (boys and girls) and environment of origin (rural and urban) the identification of their influence on the scores of each item (dependent variables) by using the statistical technique MANOVA (multivariate and univariate analysis), besides the values of F and the corre...
