The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of STEM-based Project learning models on students' thinking abilities. Learning with this STEM-based project model needs to be applied and trained to students because it not only develops the ability to think creatively, but also other abilities and can be developed such as critical thinking skills, and ability to make decisions. The research method that be used is quasi-experiment with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group. This research was conducted at the Cikidang State High School 1 with the research population being class X. The sampling technique used was Purposing Sampling. The results showed that the experimental class N-gain value was 0.71 higher than the control class of 0.47. The z test results show that the data produced is in accordance with the criteria namely Zhitung = 8, 91> Ztable = 1,998, meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the learning model STEM-based project influences students' creative thinking skills in environmental pollution material. The responses from students to the STEM-based learning model provide positive responses to the implementation of learning activities.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang: 1) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik; 2) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif; 3) peningkatan kerjasama. Pada Penelitian ini digunakan teknik pengumpulan data denganmenggunakan pretes dan postes untuk mengukur pemahaman konsepdan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik. Selain itu dilakukan dengan teknik observasi. Hasil peneliian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah diimplementasikan unit pembelajaran STEM meningkat; kemampuan berpikir kreatif juga meningkat; dan kemampuan kerja sama peserta didik juga meningkat.

This study aims to develop a worksheet (LKPD) based on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to improve the creative thinking skills of Junior high school students especially in Social Arithmethic material. The method used was pedagogical action research. The subjects in this study were 7 th grade students, teachers and a lecturer. Data collection techniques used interviews and observation. The instruments used were LKPD validation sheets, pretest-posttest, and questionnaires. Based on the result, LKPD based on STEM could improve the creative thinking skills of junior high school students, especially on 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sanggau. The students’ reasoning ability is still very low. One of the reasons is due to the lack of opportunities for students to develop optimally their ability to think creatively in the learning process. Research in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. The results showed that in the first cycle with an N-gain value of 0.54 was in the medium category. It increased in cycle II with an N-gain value of 0.72 which was in the high category. The average value of creative thinking skills in cycle I and cycle 2 expressed by the average creative assessment process which has increased with the acquisition in cycle 1 of 62.4 which is categorized sufficiently and in cycle 2 of 78 which is categorized well. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa melalui model pembelajaran PJBL dengan pendekatan STEM dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika dan menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan pendekatan STEM untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan kreativitas siswa SMP kelas VII pada materi Ekosistem. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan disain Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of STEM learning with the PjBL model on creativity and conceptual understanding of elementary school students. The Research design used in this study is a quasi-experimental design. The research subjects were 60 elementary school students who were divided into 2 homogeneous classes, consisting 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the experimental class. Students in the control class were taught by conventional methods and in the experimental class were taught by STEM learning with the PjBL model. Creativity data was taken with a creativity test instrument with a reliability of 0.84. Data analysis was carried out using ANCOVA followed by the effect size test. The results show that there are differences in students' creativity and understanding of concepts were taught by STEM learning with PjBL and conventional models. The effectiveness of STEM learning with the PjBL model on creativity and understanding of science concepts for elementary school students is significant in large categories Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pembelajaran STEM dengan model PjBL terhadap kreativitas dan pemahaman konsep siswa sekolah dasar. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental design. Subjek penlitian terdiri dari 60 siswa sekolah dasar yang terbagi dalam dua kelas homogen, yaitu 30 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa di kelas eksperimen. Siswa di kelas kontrol dilakukan pembelajaran konvensional dan di kelas eksperimen dilakukan pembelajaran STEM dengan model PjBL.Data kreativitas diambil dengan instrument tes kreativitas dengan reliabilitas 0,84. Anlisis data dilakukan menggunakan ANCOVA dilanjutkan uji effect size. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kreativitas dan pemahaman konsep siswa yang dilakukan pembelajarn STEM dengan model PjBL dan konvensional. Efektivitas pembelajaran STEM dengan model PjBL terhadap kreativitas dan pemhaman konsep IPA siswa sekolah dasar signifikan dengan kategori besar.
