Analyzing verbal interactions in mathematics classroom: connecting two different research fields via a methodological tool

Eric Roditi

2017

This paper presents a small case of junction of two research fields that remained, until recently, relatively cut off from each other. Using concepts of the Assessment field, specified in a didactic approach, we develop and test a methodological tool on the analysis of students-teacher interactions in mathematics classroom. We discuss then its potentiality in the Assessment field. This illustrates a way of locally connect research areas, via a shared methodological tool.
