Nel 1950 c’erano 25 milioni di turisti, 279 milioni nel 1980 e un miliardo nel 2015, con un fatturato di 1.260 miliardi di dollari. Tra tutte le industrie presenti al mondo, il turismo sembra l’industria meno attaccabile di altre. Sembra possedere solo virtù e nessun vizio. E’ diventata parte di un racconto mitologico che ha fatto della produzione la chiave della felicità delle nazioni. The author focuses on the functioning of Regulation (EC) No 392/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 on the liability of carriers of passengers by sea in the event of accidents and to the problems of the referral to pertinent provisions of the Convention of Athens of 1974 regarding the carriage of passengers and their luggage by sea, amended by the 2002 Protocol, in relation with Regulation (EU) No 1215/2021of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters. Il contributo si sofferma sul funzionamento del reg. Ce n. 392/2009 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio del 23 aprile 2009 relativo alla responsabili-tà dei vettori che trasportano passeggeri via mare ed alle problematiche che of-fre il rinvio alle pertinenti disposizioni della convenzione di Atene del 1974 rela-tiva al trasporto via mare dei passeggeri e del loro bagaglio, quale modificata dal protocollo del 2002 nei rapporti con il reg. Ue n. 1215/2012 del Parlamento eu-ropeo e del Consiglio concernente la competenza giurisdizionale, il riconosci-mento e l’esecuzione delle decisioni in materia civile e commerciale.

Nella prigione dell’Isola sono rinchiusi criminali d’ogni tipo. L’essere costretti in uno spazio al di fuori di una supposta normalità esterna ne fa degli esuli, chi temporaneo, chi permanente. Tra questi ultimi è un giovane tunisino, un ragazzo pieno di poesia, che è stato condannato per aver ucciso il secondo marito della madre, un uomo violento che picchiava tutti. Il suo carisma poetico lo fa benvolere da chiunque all’interno dell’Isola e si esprime attraverso le canzoni che Mohamed compone. Affiderà il suo viatico al vento. Many kinds of criminals are detained in the prison of the Island. Some of them are temporary exiles, other ones are permanent. Among those last ones there is Mohamed, a young talented and poetic Tunisian, who killed the second husband of his mother because he was violent and hit everybody. All exiles love and respect Mohamed's poetic soul and see him as a superior creature who sings his verses to the wind. He will also entrust his viaticum to the wind.
