Impact of Altruism and Courtesy on Employees’ Attitudes: A Study of Telecom Industry of Pakistan
Pakistan is a developing country where Telecom industry is one of the flourishing industries in it. The most significant apprehension of organizational theorists and practitioners is for attaining organizational effectiveness through identifying employees' attitudes those are tending towards organizational growth and productivity. The motivation of employees to go ahead of the formal specifications of job roles is attained through job satisfaction and high commitment to relinquish the job is support from Organization and its members. When Employees perceive more support from the organization as a whole; they are likely to develop more positive attitudes towards the organization like job satisfaction and commitment to their jobs. Organizational citizenship behavior's construct Altruism is a helping behavior and courtesy is affection for other workers that also help progress positive employee attitudes. The exploratory study contained a simple random sampling technique. Data was gathered from the telecom sector of Pakistan through the survey method by developing questionnaire. The questionnaire contained the items of all the variables used in the study, for the reason to get the accurate and correct results. The data collected was analyzed by using SPSS 16.0 The result states that supportive environments gives job satisfaction and up boast the commitment level. Employee job satisfactionand Job Commitment was affected positively by altruism and courtesy.
Prosocial Organizational Behavior: Is it a Personal Trait or an Organizational One
This study examines the relationship between types of Prosocial Organizational Behavior (POB) and organizational factors, which are exchange-based and the personal factor that is self-enhancement is a personality trait that promotes the subsequent psychological well-being. 527 employees from one of the top 100 companies in Turkey have participated in this study. After applying a confirmatory factor analysis to the scales used in the research, the relationship between research variables has been analyzed by structural equation model (SEM). Research results suggest the POB toward coworkers (β = .85) and role (β = .45) are strongly affected by self-enhancement that is a personal factor and there is no relationship between self enhancement and POB towards the organization. The POB towards the organization (β = .70) is strongly affected by perceived organizational support that is one of the organizational factors and is exchange based.

The main objective of this study was to investigate the impact of spiritual values (i.e., sense of meaning, sense of community, and wisdom) on employee’s helping behavior. This study also investigated the moderating effect of the Islamic work ethic (IWE). The research framework was supported by the Al-Ghazali theory of soul. A cross-sectional design with purposive sampling was used to collect data from 344 first-line managers within the Pakistan airline industry. A total of 316 useable questionnaires with a response rate of 49.37% was used for data analysis. Partial least square (PLS) second-generation structural equation modeling (SEM) method (Smart-PLS software) was employed to test the hypothesized relationship. Prosocial organizational behavior has been raised by many researchers over past decades. In recent years, there has been increasing recognition of the importance of such behavior at work due to it has important implications for organizations. Prosocial organizational behavior is considered as one of the essential assets for survival of the organization and its progress. However, kinds of prosocial organizational behavior, especially the ones which usually are considered as functional for organizational effectiveness, its antecedents either were individual or the contextual ones and suggestions for further studies were demonstrated in this work.

This study, based on the conservation of resources (COR) theory, explores the impact of contextual variables, such as prosocial motivation, on employee discretionary behavior and organizational commitment. The mediating mechanism of managerial support at work defines the nature of the proposed relationships. Data from 303 administrative, instructional, and supervisory staff—predominantly male (95%) and with an average age of 30 years—working on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for Pakistan’s public sector were collected and analyzed by employing SPSS version 24. Confirmatory factor analyses suggested a good fit model, while a correlation matrix provided a significant and positive effect of prosocial motivation on employee citizenship behaviour and organizational commitment. This research aims to know the influence of organizational commitment Through compensation and Motivation of work on performance of employees of PT Penta Valent-Jambi. The diginakan method in the research of using path analysis (path analysis). Results of the study prove that compensation and organizational commitment to simultaneously effect positively and significantly to the motivation of working employees at PT Penta Valent-Jambi. Where the total direct and indirect influence of the compensation and the commitment of the Organization together against the motivation of 52.4%, where the figure explains that directly compensation and organizational commitment to contribute against the work motivation of 52.4%, while the rest of 47.6% is affected by other variables that are not included in this model.

Over the past years, many hospitals in developing countries face intense demand for maintaining and improving work motivation and the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of their employees to become more productive and to develop increased job satisfaction. As such, the researchers assessed the relationship between the work motivation in terms of commitment, passion, involvement, contentment, goals, excellence and team work; and organizational citizenship behavior among hospital employees in a level I hospital in Region XII, Philippines.
