Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbicara Melalui Media Gambar Seri

the objective of this research is to improve the speaking skill through picture series media of the fifth grade students. The form of this research is classroom action research (CAR). The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle was consist of four phases, there are planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique was used test, observation, document and interviews. Data validity of this research used data and method triangulations. The data analysis technique was used analysis interactive model, which consist of three components namely data reduction, presentation of data, and drawing conclusion. The result of this research showed that through picture series media could improve spaking skill of fifrth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta in the academic year 2013/2014. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini dalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui media gambar seri pada siswa kelas V. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui media gambar seridapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta tahun ajaran 2013/2014.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of picture series learning media that was developed in improving storytelling skills in grade I students. This research is a Research and Development (R & D). Data collection techniques with tests, non-tests, and interviews. The effectiveness analysis was carried out by comparing the results of the pretest and posttest tested with the mean difference test (Independent Sample t Test). The results showed that after being validated by media experts and linguists, learning media were suitable to be used to improve storytelling skills. This study aims to determine the improvement of the speech skills of kindergarten students in terms of telling stories or responding to teacher questions. In this case, the child's ability is lacking due to the teacher's lack of stimulus, the image media used by the teacher is less attractive and not varied, or the child's environment is less supportive. The research was carried out at the Sulawesi Kindergarten which is located at jalan tupai no.98 kelurahan labuang baji, mamajang district Makassar. It was carried out in group B with 14 children divided into eight boys and six girls. The problem-solving in group B is carried out using the media of a series of images made by the teacher. The objective is to (a) describe the use of illustrated media and (b) describe the increase in children's speaking activities, especially storytelling through image media. (c) present the results of improving children's speaking skills, especially in terms of storytelling, after learning with series image media, Data collection using learning and observation results. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. And obtained an average score, in cycle I, the ability to speak and respond to children was 28.87%, cycle II became 57.14%, and in the third cycle, it became 64.26%. From the results of these percentages, series image media can improve children's participation skills with the support of varied and exciting methods and involve children in each activity.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita anak melalui media gambar seri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Sunan Bonang Kelapa Dua Kabupaten Tangerang dengan subyek sebanyak 10 siswa pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dan dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan empat kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrumen penelitian berupa catatan lapangan, lembar observasi, wawancara, catatan dokumentasi. This research was a classroom action research (CAR) with the adapted model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart using two cycles on the implementation of series picture media to improve the simple narrative writing skill of second grader students in primary school. This research was conducted in one primary school at Sukajadi, Bandung. The subjects of this research were 29 students from class of IIC. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang meningkatnya kemampuan berbicara anak khususnya dalam mengemukakan pendapat, bercerita ataupun merespon guru. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kurang stimulus dari guru, media kurang bervariatif dan lingkungan kurang kondusif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Al-Danazar Kecamatan Tanjungsari Kabupaten Sumedang khususnya pada Kelas A dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 14 orang yang terdiri dari 6 orang anak laki-laki dan 8 orang anak perempuan. Permasalahan yang ada di kelas A ini diselesaikan dengan menggunakan media gambar bercerita. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan penggunaan media gambar bercerita, (2) menggambarkan aktivitas peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak melalui media gambar bercerita serta (3) memaparkan hasil peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak setelah menggunakan pembelajaran dengan media gambar bercerita. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian model Elliot. Peneliti mengumpulkan data menggunakan penilaian performa, observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan serta dokumentasi. Dalam penilaian performa, peneliti menggunakan indikator ketercapaian untuk melihat dan mengukur ketercapaian perkembangan kemampuan berbicara anak. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, ada dua cara penggunaan media gambar bercerita yakni dibuat oleh peneliti dan dibuat oleh anak serta diceritakan sendiri oleh ank. Selanjutnya aktivitas anak mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus III, anak yang mau merespon sebanyak 75,67%, antusiasme anak sebanyak 91,89%, tidak bermain saat pembelajaran sebanyak 78,37%, mau berpendapat sebanyak 64,84% dan mau mengikuti seluruh kegiatan sebanyak 100%. Lalu rata-rata kemampuan berbicara anak sebagai berikut: siklus I rata-rata kemampuan berbicara anak sebesar 10,43%, siklus II menjadi sebesar 35,26% dan siklus III menjadi 44,55%. Dari hasil persentase tersebut, media gambar bercerita dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak. Adapun rekomendasi yang peneliti ajukan yaitu penggunaan media gambar bercerita untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak akan lebih optimal jika didukung oleh metode yang lebih bervariatif dan lebih menarik serta melibatkan anak dalam setiap kegiatannya.

Based on data obtained from observations, interviews, and field notes, the students in 3 rd grade of SDN Ganeas 1 are still didn't have much ability to narrating their experience. The students are still difficult to speak clearly, lack of clarity of the story, and used the right intonations. Because of that situations, conducted research using talking stick method assisted by image series. The method can make students learning in good conditions or a happy feeling. The classroom activity reaserch was using Kemmis and Taggarts's spiral model. The research was conducted in three cycles. Every single cycle shows the increases the result of teacher's performance, students' activity, and also students' speak ability. Therefore, it can be concluded that talking stick methods assisted by image series succeeded in improving students' speaking ability at narrating their experience.
