The need for water will increase in line with population growth. Achieving SDG's goals regarding providing sustainable clean water and sanitation requires hard work. The government has prepared several water infrastructure programs to meet the community's need for clean water, such as the construction of a well in Timoho Timur III, Semarang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the sustainability of a community-based clean water supply system and the aspects that affect the sustainability of the system. The data collection method used in this study consisted of primary data using qualitative methods in the form of interviews and observations as well as laboratory tests related to water quality. The results showed that the community-based clean water supply system on Timoho Timur III RT 4 / RW 3 has an outstanding level of social, economic, environmental, cultural, and technical sustainability

The SDGs or Sustainable Development Goals are the 2030 Global Development Agenda which has become a commitment from all countries in the world, including Indonesia. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of the residents of Kalimas Village about the importance of clean water management as an effort to improve public health in order to achieve the SDGs goals. the service method uses counseling that takes place offline and online to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The results of the service show that the community understands the importance of clean water for health. The construction of reservoirs is proof of the application of infrastructure that supports clean water treatment. The people of Kalimas Village still need material and non-material assistance to increase the SGDs (Sustainable Development Goals) index according to the government's target.

Pengembangan Teknologi Air Bersih Masyarakat dalam Rangkaian Percepatan MDG’s 2015 Di Kabupaten Malang

MDG's (Millenium Development Goal's) 2015 menjadi salah satu komitmen percepatan sanitasi yang harus dicapai di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Kondisi pelayanan air bersih penduduk Indonesia masih tergolong kurang memenuhi aspek keberlanjutan di segi kualitas dan kuantitas. Selain itu, pemerataan pelayanan penyediaan air bersih masih kurang, terutama pada daerah perdesaan. Maka dalam rangka percepatan capaian akses air bersih di wilayah Indonesia, perlu adanya evaluasi dari aspek teknologi, sosial, dan budaya. Pada studi kasus program percepatan sanitasi, Kabupaten Malang, Desa Argosari menjadi salah satu kawasan strategis yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam sebagai wilayah konservasi lingkungan dalam pelestarian hutan dan perlindungan air bersih. Sehingga memiliki potensi sumber air (mata air) yang berkualitas. Namun permasalahan yang yang terjadi, hampir seluruh masyarakat tidak memiliki akses air bersih yang layak. Sehingga, penerapan teknologi distribusi air bersih diaplikasikan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas penduduk yang terlayani dengan air bersih dan diharapkan dapat mempercepat capian sanitasi Indonesia di tahun 2015.

Sistem Penyediaan Air Bersih Perdesaan Berbasis Masyarakat

Abstrak Pembangunan sektor air bersih di perdesaan dimaksudkan untuk membantu masyarakat perdesaan yang belum mempunyai akses terhadap air bersih yang aman dan layak, khususnya masyarakat miskin. Sarana air bersih yang telah dibangun, selanjutnya dikelola oleh masyarakat dengan membentuk lembaga yang disebut HIPPAM (Himpunan Penduduk Pemakai Air Minum). Keterbatasan kemampuan pengelola HIPPAM, baik secara teknis maupun manajerial, diduga akan mempengaruhi keandalan sistem penyediaan air bersih di perdesaan. Keandalan pelayanan diindikasikan dengan kuantitas, kualitas, dan kontinyuitas air yang diterima oleh masyarakat pelanggan air. Untuk menguji dugaan di atas, telah dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metoda studi kasus yang dilakukan di DAS (daerah aliran sungai) Brantas bagian hilir. Studi kasus ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan pengisian kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan dan faktor sosial lebih besar sebagai penyebab keandalan sistem penyediaan air bersih perdesaan dibandingkan dengan faktor teknis. Faktor sosial yang penting adalah tanggap kebutuhan dan partisipasi masyarakat, sementara faktor teknis yang penting adalah kualitas air. Abstract Development of water sector in rural areas is aimed to facilitate rural communities that have no access to safe water, particularly for poor communities. The provided water supply facilities then are managed by community by forming committee as called HIPPAM (Himpunan Penduduk Pemakai Air Minum). It is hypothesized that lack of committee, technically or managerially, will affect the reliability of rural water supply system. The reliability is indicated as quantity, quality, and continuity of received water by communities as users of water. To evidence the hypothesis, a research was conducted using case study method in lower Brantas River Basin. The case study uses observation, interview, and questionnaire technique. Results of the research show that community management and social factor are more than technical factor as cause of reliability of rural water supply system. The important social factors are demand responsive and community participation, while, technical factor is water quality.

Pelayanan air bersih oleh PDAM baru mencapai 50 % untuk perkotaan dan 10% untuk pedesaan, makauntuk mempercepat memenuhi kebutuhan akan air bersih, perlu melibatkan sektor swasta danmasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kinerja pelayanan air bersih berbasis masyarakat diTugurejo. Analisa kinerja ditinjau dari aspek operasional, keuangan, administrasi dan kepuasanpelanggan. Evaluasi Pengelolaan Sistem Penyediaan Air Bersih DI Pdam Kota Madiun

Madiun city was an area with a rapid rate of development so it needs optimal clean water management to meet the level of population needs. Piped water systems were utilized by utilizing raw water sources from deep wells. The entire water supply system in Madiun City comes from deep wells. The level of population service in PDAM Kota Madiun was still under ideal criteria. Management of water supply system that was less optimal, allegedly will affect the level of municipal water services Madiun. It was therefore necessary to evaluate the management of water supply system in order to improve the clean water service in Madiun City. The method used in this research was through direct reviews, interviews, and literature studies. From the evaluation result, management of PDAM Madiun transmission system was still lacking because there was not clear path and maintenance was not supervised as a whole. The reservoir capacity was sufficient for water supply and clean water supply. The distribution system of PDAM Kota Madiun has not been able to implement zoning system because some deep wells are functioned as water supplier to the area around the well location. Water pressure was also less attention so that some areas of water pressure services were still lacking.

Water is one of the assets of human life. If these assets are reduced or depleted, it is certain that humans cannot continue their lives. This rationale produces a mindset in positioning water as a source of life. Water is indispensable in human life for various needs, especially clean water for households, industry, and public places. Water is the main resource of human life. The right to water, which is a human right, is enshrined in Law No. 36 of 2009 concerning Health. The right with regard to clean and healthy water has quite a broad dimension, namely the environment and human rights. Therefore, regulations are needed so that the right to clean water can be fulfilled. This water is a human right that is also a staple in the welfare of human life. Recognition of human rights is believed to be 2 things, namely those who recognize water as an important need and think about access to water use. The fulfillment of clean water is based on Law no. 36 of 2009.

ABSTRAKAir merupakan kebutuhan bagi setiap kehidupan, semua makhluk hidup memerlukan air dalam kehidupannnya sehingga tanpa air dapat dipastikan tidak akan ada kehidupan. Sebagian besar masyarakat yang mengalami kesulitan memperoleh air bersih untuk digunakan sebagai air minum tersebut adalah masyarakat yang tinggal di perdesaan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat tentang cara pengelolaan air minum di Desa Pemurus RT.3B Kecamatan Aluh-Aluh. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Desa Pemurus RT.3B Kecamatan Aluh-Aluh yang berjumlah 15 orang. Kegiatan ini sebagai salah satu bentuk untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat tentang cara pengelolaan air minum.
