It has enforced the world wide lock down creating very bad effect on the stu schools/colleges and all educational activities halted in India. The outbreak of COVID us that change is inevitable. It has worked as a catalyst for the educational institutions to grow an for platforms with technologies, which have not been used before. The education sector has been fighting to survive the crises with a different approach and digitising the challenges to wash away the threat of the pandemic. Outbreak of COVID-19 and its Impact on Education: The Case of India

The novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), which became the global pandemic, has seriously endangered the situation of public health worldwide. This COVID-19 has caused severe negative effects on human population, society, education and India's economy. The study aims to deliver an extensive overview of COVID-19 outbreak on the education sector and the probable actions need to be taken to minimize those effects. The study is based on secondary data collected from the published and unpublished records, reports released from various national and international organizations, institutions across the world. Nearly every nation is struggling hard to minimize the transmission of this viral disease. Many governments' specific actions include testing & treating patients, quarantining suspected persons through contact tracing, putting a ban on large gatherings, declaring complete or partial lockdown, etc. All of these actions have left an impact on the education sector. Therefore, the Government has come up with an e-learning program in virtual mode. However, the number of total confirmed cases is increasing in geometric patterns in India. Lastly, we can conclude that individually it is not possible to mitigate the effects of this pandemic. Rather, an integrated effort from the government authority and concerned people of all sectors is needed to resolve this problem.

The outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 virus in the world caused havoc and fear among all and also deeply affected educational sector. Indian education profoundly, based on offline structure of teaching and learning, faced derailment from its path due to corona virus but soon switched from offline mode to online mode of education to maintain the continuity in education flow. Various departments such as MoE, UGC, AICTE, etc. started to work in synchronized manner to fulfill the task. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and assess the changes in educational sector due to COVID outbreak. The impact of COVID on primary level to higher education has been discussed in this paper. This article highlights the impact of COVID-19 along with the coping mechanism used by the educational institutions and also predicts its possible effect on post COVID era.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a huge challenge to education systems. Education is the main priority direction and main development indicator in all civilized countries of the world. The COVID-19 global pandemic has upended all the education system across the world. In this time of crisis, a well-rounded and effective educational practice is what is needed for the capacity-building of young minds. It will develop skills that will drive their employability, productivity, health, and well-being in the decades to come, and ensure the overall progress of India. This research paper tries to investigate on the various impact of Covid-19 in education system especially on rural India. We also try to throw light on the different existing and new initiatives by government during the pandemic. The novel coronavirus has transformed the centuries-old, chalk-talk teaching model to one driven by technology. The last 50 years have seen huge growth worldwide in the provision of education at all levels. COVID-19 is the greatest challenge that these expanded national education systems have ever faced. Many governments have ordered institutions to cease face-to-face instruction for most of their students, requiring them to switch, almost overnight, to online teaching and virtual education. We see a drastic rise in the use of various teaching and conferencing technologies which has been explained in this paper, also various advantages and disadvantages to the students in the use of these technologies have been covered in this research paper by identifying opportunities and trends. Finally research has been concluded by providing avenues to future research and a meaningful conclusion.
Government of India Initiatives for COVID-19: Higher Education

Within a short span of time, the COVID-19 epidemic has spread worldwide. Today, according to the WHO, about 220 countries are affected by this epidemic. COVID 19 has impacted worldwide causing every country is grappling with the major economic crises. The spread of the COVID-19 epidemic has significantly disrupted every walk of human life, that too includes education. Internationalization has also slowed down considerably due to this epidemic. The COVID-19 epidemic has led to an unprecedented ambush on education. In many educational institutions around the world, campuses are closed for formal education, and teaching-learning has gone online or virtual. A progressive country like India has also been affected in this field, but technology has also solved this problem to some extent. In India, there are about 32 crore learners who are covered under schools/colleges and all educational Institutes. COVID-19 has also made an impact on the admission of the learner to higher education in this session, due to which one important reason is the decrease in the source of parental income due to COVID-19. Two main issues are discussed in this research paper. In the first part, during the COVID-19 epidemic, the Government of India includes numerous measures and instructions that are given from time to time for its prevention. In the second part, this research discusses the reasons for the major effects on admission to higher education for the current session.

Covid-19 situation has severely impacted human's daily life and many sectors like: education systems, children's right, all service sectors etc. But as a proverb 'The show must go on', this unfavourable situation turns down in to a positive outcome. All individuals and all service sectors from all over the world had reworked on the situation and changed accordingly. In this paper, we researched on many fields and its impact, as well as the new strategy to tackle with this pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on education systems around the world, affecting nearly 1.6 billion students in over 200 countries. More than 94 percent of the world's student population has been affected by the school, university, and other learning space closures this has resulted in significant changes in every aspect of our lives. Orthodox educational activities have been greatly disrupted by social distancing and restrictive movement policies. After the restrictions have been lifted, the reopening of schools is another problem, as several new standard operating procedures have been implemented. Many scholars have shared their work on teaching and learning in various ways in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Face-to-face instruction has been phased out at several schools, colleges, and universities. There is concern that the 2020 academic year will be lost in the future or much more in the future. Innovation and implementation of alternative educational systems and evaluation methods are urgently needed. The COVID-19 pandemic has given us the ability to lay the groundwork for digital learning. This article aims to provide a detailed report on the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on online teaching and learning of various articles and suggest a course of action.

Under these situation government imposed nation wise lockdown on March 25 th , 2020 to combat COVID-19, has made extreme impact on the education system. Health is also a major concern for any country and keeping its countrymen healthy is the responsibility of the nation's authorities. The outbreak of the corona virus (COVID-19) has declared by WHO a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC). Education is one sector which has been tremendously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This paper probes into the effect of this pandemic on education and analyses the various alternatives which are being used to aid the learning process. The requirement of every student differs from the other. Therefore, age is used as a parameter to categorize students and understand the student needs through analysis of these categories. Also, several initiatives launched by the government are analyzed, which go unnoticed due to lack of awareness. The virtual way of learning also brings with it several problems which are discussed. The importance of online learning is underscored with future prospects.
