The learning of Arabic writing at Universitas Negeri Jakarta still faced some difficultiesin order to develop the students' skill. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effectiveness of peer teaching method on the skills of students in Arabic writing. The method is classroom action research with the treatment as much as two cycles (rounds), each round consists of four stages, including: planning, implementation, observation and reflection.The subject of this research was 24 students of the Arabic Education Program at State University of Jakarta, in which each group consisted of 3-4 students. The results of classroom action research showed that learning with peer tutors are proven to improve student's skills in Arabic writing of students.Peer tutoring learning method hasaccounted for 3.83 from the pretest to the first cycle, and 2.19 from the first cycle to the second cycle of improvement on students' writing skill. This research proved that activelearning can be done without involving a lot of teachers. Besides, the learning process can be maximized with the existing potentials by, among others, through peer tutoring.

This research discusses the efforts of teachers in improving the literacy ability of the Qur’an students through the rubaiyat method at SD Inpres 6 Lolu Palu. The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the teacher's effort to improve the students' literacy in reading and writing through the rubaiyat method in SD Inpres 6 Lolu Palu? and what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in improving students' literacy in the Qur’an through the rubaiyat method? Latar belakang dari penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa kelas IVB MI Setia Bhakti Trawas. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil salah satu nilai harian siswa selama proses pembelajaran, nilai yang diperoleh dari 28 siswa hanya 8 siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 28%. Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa maka peneliti akan menerapkan metode reka cerita bergambar. Mempelajari baca tulis Al-Qur’an sangat urgen bagi umat muslim maka perlu adanya upaya guru BTQ dalam mengatasi kesulitan di dalamnya salah satunya yang ada di SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Assa’adah (YAPSA). Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Upaya guru antara lain: memilih metode yang tepat, motivasi, semangat, membuat kelompok belajar, dan memberikan tugas; (2) Faktor pendukung antara lain: fasilitas sekolah yang memadai, media belajar, guru yang aktif, dan dukungan keluarga ketika belajar BTQ di rumah; (3) Faktor penghambat antara lain: siswa mempunyai beragam kemampuan dalam BTQ, media pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, dan siswa yang kurang percaya diri; dan kurang motivasi belajar dari keluarga (4) Solusi yang dilakukan antara lain: membuat kelompok belajar, menggunakan media pembelajaran lain, memberikan motivasi kepada siswa, dan keluarga yang membimbing siswa belajar di rumah.

The learning process of reading the Qur'an runs less effectively. One reason is the number of students who are still lacking in the ability to read the Qu’ran, lack of enthusiasm of students to learn to read the Qur’an, lack of teacher interaction with students, inaccuracy in choosing learning methods and there is a distance between one participant educate with other students. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan dilingkungan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Jannah Desa Batuporo Timur Kecamatan Kedungdung Sampang yang berlangsung selama kurang lebih satu bulan yaitu mulai tanggal 16 Juli s/d 15 Agustus 2020. Pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kelurahan Gunung Batu pada Kecamatan Bogor Barat Kota Bogor melalui program peningkatan kualitas pera pengajar Al-Qur`an adalah bentuk pembinaan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan minat baca Al-Qur’an di masyarakat.
