Oleh karena itu, makalah ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan dasar mengenai WEB SERVER dan konfigurasi WEB SERVER pada linux Ubuntu.

User Interface (UI) is the member of the system that acts as an intermediate between the user and the system that aids the user in interacting with the system in an efficient manner. The user interface is everything the end-user approaches while using the system physically, perceptually, and conceptually. To the end-user, the user interface proposed is the system itself. Hence, the Usability of the system remains one of the most significant aspects in determining the total quality of any software system. In this project, we have identified the various details in designing an efficient User Interface for a Milk Processing Industry. All these details are discussed in brief with a suitable example. User Interface design is to make the user's interaction as simple and efficient as possible in terms of bringing about the user's goals (user-centered design).

ABSTRACT
This project work Design and Implementation of an E-registration system in tertiary institutions will help enhance the efficiency of data capture and shortens registration processing time for both the students and the school. Its objective is to develop a registration software system that replaces the manual method of registration in Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo. This project work makes use of data collection from the school, materials and journals from various authors. The methodology used is the object oriented analysis and design methodology and the analysis of the existing system shows that it is prone to error. The benefit of the proposed system is that it speeds up the registration process and ensures prompt release of student’s registration number. The implementation of the E-Registration system was carried out using Hypertext Pre-processor (PHP) for the program and the server used is the xampp server. The developed software performed well and produced expected results on completion; in conclusion, this project work if implemented will allow students to register remotely without having to be physically present on campus. There is need for tertiary institutions to computerize their registration system for greater efficiency, neatness, and reliability. This will go a long way to save both the students and the registration officers all the trouble they go through trying to register one form or the other.

The MNSC 20 has been outlined as a policy in managing disaster in Malaysia specifically for response and recovery phase. The presence experts during disaster response and recovery will increase the effectiveness of the operations but experts may not always be available. Hence, responders, especially from lead responding agency, need a computerized system in assisting them to manage response and recovery operations, namely IDMS, which consist of a web-based system and a database. Studies have the objective to design and develop the IDMS-database through using document review, observations and survey questionnaire methods, these. Based on the elements of effective disaster management, observations and survey questionnaire were administered to lead responding agency officers. Results indicate that IDMS-database designed based on ERD have a total of 12 entities and 69 attributes. The IDMS-database ERD was validated by six (6) domain experts where each agrees of the entities and attributes outlined. At the same time, XAMPP was used in developing SQL database where entities and attributes are represented in form of tables and columns. The design and development of IDMS-database will ensure the smooth development of IDMS fulfilling the criteria of a computerized system for lead responding agency in Malaysia.

The purpose of this thesis was to show how to use Zend Framework to connect PHP applications to the cloud. To find out how easy it is for developers with basic knowledge of the Zend Framework, to incorporate cloud computing in their applications. In order to do this, a blog application was developed using the Zend Framework and the upload files functionality was connected to the cloud using the Zend_Service_Amazon_S3 class. The development work was carried out on a personal computer. Notepad ++ was used as the editing software and Microsoft Word 2007 was used for documentation. Zend Framework 1.11.2 was the framework used for developing the blog application. Apache server was used for the web server. Amazon S3 web service was used to connect the application and for storage. The upload files functionality was not practically tested due to time constraints but an extensive guide on how to connect to the cloud, was put together in this thesis. Therefore any developer looking for instructions or reference on how to do this should be able to connect an application by following the steps described here.

In today's world regularity of student attendance is concerned in the administration of Educational Institutions. Overall academic performance is affected by the student's attendance because poor attendance leads students in detention list. Student's attendance is taken manually by using attendance sheet given by the faculty members in the classroom, which is a time-consuming event. Furthermore, it is very difficult to verify one by one student in a large classroom whether the authenticated students are responding or not. The proposed system describes a method for Students Attendance System which will integrate with the fingerprint technology. This paper proposes the system in that various fingerprints of students will be gated through the fingerprint module. The fingerprints will be mapped against the data set for authentication of student attendance. The student whose fingerprint matches the most with the data set is marked present for the particular lecture. As well as this paper demonstrates how fingerprint recognition can be used for an efficient attendance system to automatically record the presence of an enrolled individual within the respective venue. Also, it maintains a log file to keep records of the entry of every individual with respect to subjects and also generate a report of attendance. This paper also provides the design method of fingerprint-based student attendance with help of GSM. This system ignores the requirement for stationary materials and personnel for keeping of records.
